Beautiful house in Stonebridge Fold, Longridge

One year on

After living in the house a year, our boiler went. Though the handbook states only to contact them in an emergency (due to the time it went), they stated we should have called them and will now not honour the warranty. Very poor show and highly disappointed.Update in light of response.We are currently going through the paperwork again and will be in touch with the ombudsman as we were unable to contact Anwyl when required. Due to my wife recovering from Cancer at this time, we could not leave the house freezing for too long.

Great customer service from Paul Higham, Customer Service Technician yesterday! Paul came to repaint our en-suite and did a great job, he was very friendly and left the room spotless. He also adjusted cupboard doors in the kitchen that someone had attempted to fix previously, now they’re spot on!Thank you Paul for a doing such a great job!

Customer service after care is non existent. The oaks

Initially wrote a good review and I still can’t fault the site team and sales team. However the aftercare of the customer service team is awful. 1 year in our home and we have been left with an overgrown green space outside of our house which is a dumping ground for litter and road signs. Anwyl take no responsibility for this due to it being owned by torus homes, however we were assured they work closely with torus homes on site as they supply homes on the estate to torus. They have been completely dismissive and have advised i chase this matter up with torus personally, they have taken no accountability for how it’s left us feeling about our home . Seems they aren’t interested once a sale is complete. Don’t waste your time or money. Thoughtful homes I think not.

Handforth Fairways Development.....

We bought a house at the Fairways Development in Handforth. Everything was great until we received the keys. Far from “thoughtful homes”. They do not care about the customer after they have completed on a home. They don’t answer the phone, trying to get in contact has been extremely challenging. Since we have moved in trying to get things fixed has been a constant battle. Majority of problems raised at key release still remain unaddressed.

Absolutely disgusting! SON INJURED!!

Absolutely disgusting!! This has been in the local press !! And about to be on BBC Wales! My son fell through a broken drain grid on site., causing bruising to his legs and panic! Took 4 days for a manager to call me back. And once they completed “their review of the site” I get an email back saying it’s basically our own fault because they advise people to use the pathways! How are we supposed to get from one path to another without crossing the road??!!! They refused all responsibility!!

Highly recommend Anwyl at Parc BodafonThe Whole experience has been excellent from the initial phone call made to the sales lady, Elizabeth Woosnam, about 12 months ago who was always professional, friendly and very helpful at every stage from choosing the plot to moving in. Throughout the process she always kept us in the loop and updated us weekly which made the move totally stress free.We love our house which is perfect, beautiful and quality workmanship with only a couple of minor snags which were sorted immediately after they were reported.The sales lady Elizabeth, site manager Blethyn and assistant site manager Matt and all the contractors are a credit to Anwyl. The area and location are extremely welcoming, friendly, peaceful and every day still feels like a holiday with the lovely community, local amenities, beach, shops, restaurants etc all within walking distance.

Winnington Place From the sales team to the site team, everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. Kelly and Marie from Sales have been wonderful in seeing us through to the handover. The handover file full of helpful information was something we didn’t receive from other house builders so that was really useful.Keith, Andy and Scott have been great. We had a few items on the snagging list and they were fixed promptly. We also had two incidents with the drains and that was seen to by another very helpful guy on site. (Welsh guy - sorry I didn’t get his name) I’m glad to report that the site team continues to be there for us if we encounter any issues. Overall we are extremely happy with the house. We chose the Euxton and love the floorplan. And we look forward to turning this house into a home. Last but not least a huge thank you to the crew from Anwyl Homes Winnington Place who have helped make this process as stress free as possible.
