I recently purchased a property through Clifford Smith Sutcliffe, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. As soon as the property went on the market, I got in touch, viewed it within a few days, and had my offer accepted shortly after. Scott showed me around the property, and it was great to see a familiar face, I’ve viewed several properties over the years and often seemed to cross paths with him! Hopefully I won’t be seeing you again anytime soon, Scott! Keelie kept in regular contact throughout the process while things were progressing with the solicitors. She was always polite, helpful, and brought a really positive, vibrant energy to every interaction. Having her as my main point of contact made the whole experience much more enjoyable. I’ve noticed other reviews mentioning Keelie as well, which clearly reflects how valuable she is to the business. It’s just a shame you don’t offer lettings services, as I would have happily continued with you for the next step too!

We recently bought a house listed by Clifford Smith Sutcliffe and we can't thank them enough. They were professional and kind from the beginning of the process to the very end. Keelie was lovely, reassuring, always knew her stuff and would go above and beyond to help get things sorted. We also had some contact with Peter who seemed just as great. Holly, Scott and Keeley were all great when it came to arranging viewings and Holly especially was great in answering any questions about the property. Can’t fault this business… From the initial house viewing to having my offer accepted, the service provided and communication from CSS has been impeccable. Peter has a lot of patience with his clients and will spend time ensuring you understand everything before proceeding. Peter is always happy to answer any further questions you may have. Keelie has been amazing throughout the entire buying and selling process! We previously bought and sold back in 2020/2021 through a different estate agents and it was such a long drawn out stressful process which took over 18 months to complete. Which made us nervous about going through this process again. However Keelie and Darren walked us through every step and we actually accepted an offer before the house went on due to Keelie knowing what potential clients wants and needs are in the housing market, we then completed on our new house in under 12 weeks!! We recently sold our property with Clifford Smith Sutcliffe and could not recommend them enough! The service was brilliant! Everything was clearly explained, we were kept updated throughout and had a full asking price offer on the first day of viewings! All the staff were lovely, very friendly, professional and knowledgable. We mainly spoke with Peter and he was amazing, he always followed through on anything asked, nothing was too much trouble and always responded as soon as possible, we were never kept waiting long! Communication was fab! We also used their solicitor service and again the service received from Debbie was just as good, could not fault it at all, everything was swiftly dealt with! We did purchase the property using their Solictor service (Debbie) and had no hesitation in returning for the sale! Debbie is very on the ball and gets things done! Fantastic service from Scott, Keelie and Peter. Our house sale was dealt with professionally and we received the best sale price thanks to Keelie’s fantastic negotiation skills. The whole team are great and really efficient, however Keelie in particular was tenacious in pursuing the whole chain to ensure exchange of contracts. The chain should have been simple but thanks to solicitors further down the line, it became unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. Despite this, Keelie made sure we sold and that’s exactly what you want in an agent - Kind, considerate, tenacious, and great negotiation skills. She went above and beyond. Would highly recommend.

I scheduled a viewing to visit over the bank holiday long weekend. I made Clifford Smith Sutcliffe aware that I would be travelling from the south coast for this visit. After booking this I had no communication at all. I arrived at the property that we were very keen to put an offer on but the home owner said this had been cancelled and the estate agents told the owners they had informed us via email and phone call this was cancelled. I checked all emails and my call history and other than the initial booking I have had no contact. I have since emailed to clear things up, I emailed Kara to confirm the cancellation and what the homeowner had said but my emails have been ignored. Its really disappointing to have driven nearly 7 hours to be told it was a waste of our time. I would have appreciated a heads up so I didn't have to leave at 5am to make the appointment.

Any one looking to sell a house with this agent be warned that they DO NOT TAKE ALL OFFERS TO THE VENDORS… yes this is a legal requirement and an offer for a run down house was refused to be put forward, I deal with a large number of investors and this agent has potential cost the owner thousands… Thanks for the response Scot… the offer wasn’t 20k under the asking price was it? I would show you the offer but unfortunately your company refused to take the offer to your client. You also mentioned they had given you instructions to refuse any offers of a certain value, this wasn’t told to us and we have the recording of the phone call, so I would appreciate if you didn’t try and change what happened on the call. Also my clients was told you are not part of the TPO yet you have there logos on your website, they said due to not being part of the TPO they didn’t need to take the offer, again this is wrong… it’s worrying a company can get it so wrong when it was a phone call to your clients that would of taken 5min max, then an email ti confirm the offer, I do wonder what else is missed in your company? I would be having a long chat with your staff and informing them of the legal duties if I was you… You also say your “professional” position, shame you don’t also uphold your “legal” position…
