Berrymans have recently marketed and sold my late Uncles property in Burnham-on-Sea. Their service was excellent right through from the initial valuation visit to the sale. It was particularly difficult for me living miles away from the area. They arranged a contractor to clear and clean the property, as well as a big tidy up of the garden. All with very impressive results. Marketing was quick and efficient with a very good price obtained. The following sale was completed in excellent time to their recommended buyer. I used Berryman's in Burnham on Sea to sell my late mothers bungalow. I needed a valuation for probate and was advised by my solicitor that I must get at least three valuation. I invited four different estate agents to come and give me the valuation. Graham stood out from the rest in many ways. He was professional and very sympathetic and understanding at this very difficult time for me. Even though at this stage I was only getting a probate valuation Graham spent time with me advising on how I should present the bungalow when I decided to sell it, and talked me through the procedures of selling a property when a grant of probate was required. The valuation that Graham produced for my solicitor and myself was very detailed and was laid out in an informative brochure. The other companies just produced a single sheet letter with very basic details. One of the other valuations was higher but I felt Graham had given a realistic valuation. The property was empty and for insurance purposes it had to be checked inside and out once a week. Matt went in every week to check even during lock down which was amazing for me as I was not local. I was kept informed about viewing and was given feed back after the viewings had taken place. Communication was excellent, either by phone or email, always very prompt.
