Excellent experience

I've had an excellent experience buying a property through Carnaby's despite the purchase itself being quite lengthy due to some unexpected probate issues. The quality of the communication and the effort put in by James Potten and his colleagues to keep things on track was exceptional and he was always willing to go the extra mile with chasing up additional parties to get a current update on outstanding items. This was particularly invaluable to me as I was not permitted to contact the solicitors of other parties directly and it was helpful not to have to rely solely on my solicitor for feedback on the situation. I hope to not be moving for some time. But if and when I do I'm definitely going to be using Carnaby's in the future!

Made first house purchasing a dream :)

James was lovely start to finish , incredibly helpful and gave us lots of information and explained things for us in a simple easy to understand way (which we needed!) . He kept us well informed at every step and his estimate of when we were to complete was quite acurate . We received a new house card from James and the team which I feel was a very nice touch! Would definitely recomend to family and friends as the whole process was made as stress free as possible ! Thank you so much James for helping us get our lovely home - the furbabies are already liking it and we are planning to make some cider and juice from the apple tree !

Approachable, Efficient and Helpful

Our main point of contact was James Potten. He was very approachable, really helpful and went out of his way to keep things moving on our purchase. His communication was timely, succinct and he kept us updated regularly with any progress. He also communicated very effectively with our solicitor and took any queries back to the seller returning responses promptly. Thank you James for facilitating our move as much as you did.

Fantastic Service and staff

From the initial viewing with Tina to the handing over of the keys with James, the service has been outstanding. James kept in contact with a weekly telephone call keeping us updated with the progress of the sale. I would recommend Carnabys to family and friends who are either looking to buy, sell or rent as I know they would receive an amazing service from a truly dedicated team.

Carnabys estate agents are an excellent team. James Potten the Sales Manager was exceptional. He worked really hard to bring the purchase to completion. I would recommend Carnabys to friends and family, and would certainly use them to sell or rent out a property in the future.

My Carnabys experience

I thought the whole process was relatively straight forward, and the colleagues were very helpful. The only negative comment was that I was called nearly every day about the development and chasing people up. This became extremely tiresome with my full time job, when in fact there was not much I could do to hurry up the process. All aspects of the service were good and the people were very nice.

Helpful and efficient

I found Carnabys easy to get hold of and always helpful, letting us into the property (twice) to get quotes and liaising promptly with the seller. They were efficient and pro-active during the process, sending regular emails and keeping us all on track for the completion date. The individuals in the office also seemed genuinely nice people and happy for us. I don't usually rate services/goods but Carnabys are worth a mention as the best estate agent experience I've had in my years of owning property.
