Great experience with Ryan and Kirsten while buying my first home. Kirsten showed us around the house to begin with and was friendly and helpful, giving us plenty of time and space to look around but equally ready to answer any questions we had; didn't feel rushed or pressured at all. There are a few hurdles around safety certificates / conveyancing also takes ages atm! Not all sellers are responsive, so a good agent knows when to nudge and intervene. GoogleHow can you praise the exemplary staff employed by a company sufficiently?
Richard, the most charming and agreeable Valuer, came and valued our property. He took lovely photographs, compiled the marketing brochure and the sales procedure commenced. This was handled by the amazing and delightful Senior Negotiator, Lucy. We cannot fault the totally professional, personable and understanding manner in which she conducted the sale and, although she had no need to, helped with our problematic and, at times, challenging purchase.
Both Richard and Lucy were there for us, be it by email, 'phone and, on occasion, just calling into the office for reassurance. Nothing was too much trouble. They have a wonderful "we will get you there" attitude.
We cannot forget the charming Isobel, whom we also dealt with in the absence of Richard and/or Lucy.

GoogleI am so shocked at the treatment by this shady agency, buyers beware.
We put in an offer for a property which was accepted by the vendor. I asked for this in writing, which was emailed to me.
Our mortgage was approved and we were waiting for a surveyor to inspect the property in question- as is standard in any sale. Granted, this property was not a standard build, but ithe fact it was a timber framed property was already taken into consideration by our mortgage company and accepted. If there was any question it would not be accepted by a lender the listing should have stated ' cash buyers only'.
The estate agent did not phone me once during this period, and yes, it was taking slightly longer than we would have liked - but these things take time.
At no point was it communicated to us that the agency was still showing the property to interested parties while we we had had our offer accepted.
I was sent a casual email by the agent telling me unfortunately the vendors had accepted a cash offer over the weekend, and sorry but that's how it is...
How about not showing the property to other buyers after our offer has been accepted and we have paid for a valuator?
Nothing but greed. I know it's legal here in the UK, but I have phoned to arrange viewings for several other properties in the same location to be told they have had an offer accepted and thus are not taking bookings for viewings.
If you are selling a property of which there is the slightest inkling it may not be accepted by a valuator, please put 'cash only buyers' in the listing and save everybody's time and energy.
