We were delighted with the service we received from Alex, Samantha and the whole team in Bude. Alex provided a superb sales brochure with excellent photographs and took time to discuss pricing options with us. Our property went on the market on Friday and was under offer at the full asking price the following Monday. Samantha in the sales update team kept us fully informed of progress throughout the process all the way to exchange of contracts. A first class all round service from Bond Oxborough, Bude. Alex carried out the initial appraisal and valuation, very personable, professional and thorough market knowledge. Knew potential buyers straightaway, different to most estate agents who today just rely on the property portals. Demonstrated great skill finding a buyer before the property went on the open market, although this sale did not proceed, which was no fault of Alex's. A new buyer was secured within a few weeks, after a series of viewings ably carried out by Beth who provided excellent communication, help and feedback at all times. After Beth found a buyer, Tracy handled the sales progression effectively to ensure completion took place to meet the deadlines of all in the chain. The best service I have received from the many estate agents, in different parts of the country, I have dealt with over the last 4-5 years. I therefore wholeheartedly recommed Alex and his team.

Alex and the team, Tracy, Beth and Stuart were amazing (sincere apologies if I forgotten a name). Very professional, courteous and kind. This was not a straightforward sale by any means and at points of the sale they were dealing with difficult companies. I always felt fully supported and kept informed of everything that was going on. Tracy in particular was absolutely amazing as in the depth of all this when they were personal things going on that also made this so complicated. Her kindness and professionalism were amazing and made a very difficult job so much easier. Alex was there keeping me informed of every step and making sure that it all ran smoothly. I never felt like just a client. I always felt that they genuinely cared and always there to do the best for us I have bought and sold houses many times over the years and in all that time I can honestly say I have never met a more professional amazing team. Extremely poor communication and lack of trust. as a buyer, treated terribly. Confirmed an offer, only to gazump with a higher bid, without getting back to me. When asked why this had happened - told 'well the other buyer got their ID in quicker than you'. I said I was ready to go, but now didn't trust viewing properties marketed by them, in case it happened again. Disgusting immature response. No follow up. Pretty sure the seller doesn't realise their unethical practices. I will now not view any properties marketed by them, as I will not trust their purchase process.

A poor experience

Scheduled to view a property in Chagford, made a 3hr round trip to view and had a limited window of time (30 minutes) as had children to collect from school. Firstly, they turned up 15 minutes late, we were told because of the rain, so that reduced our viewing time. Entered the property to be faced with poorly tenants (apparently not covid) but still was totally inappropriate for us to be there and left promptly. We were then told we couldn't view the shop part until 2pm when we had made it very clear we would have to leave then. So we didn't view the shop at all Apologies were made somewhat defensively, clearly cross with us for being cross! Won't be offering as couldn't trust them with the process of buying/selling.

Very disappointing.

Our experience very disappointing. Buying from them an absolute disaster. Such a shame as Debbie such a lovely lady to deal with but things went down hill when we were told we could not view our potential home before exchange of contracts which immediately brought up a red flag . We had been so patient and as we were traveling 400 mile and had only viewed the property once we thought this ridiculous and felt we were not being told the whole truth.Although we cannot blame this EA entirely we do feel they should offer more advice to their clients if they want to sell there properties successfully.
