When we approached several agents in High Wycombe to sell our flat Rob stood out as being very passionate about his work and demonstrated significant local knowledge whilst a couple of the bigger chains barely seemed interested. What should have been a straight forward sale turned into a 10 month nightmare created and compounded by two sets of totally useless solicitors. During all that time Rob was extremely helpful and supportive, always being there when called upon to help and diplomatically expediting various parties when they were failing to perform. Couldn't have asked for a better estate agent. We were very impressed with Rob from our first enquiry through to the sale of our house. We recently purchased our first home through Wye and we’re incredibly impressed by the friendly, diligent and fantastic service we received from Rob and all the team. They kept us informed of each step along the way and offered help and guidance throughout (especially handy when you’ve never bought a house before!) Rob was incredibly proactive and kept checking in to give updates but also making sure we knew where everybody was in the chain which was really helpful to give a rough timeline to complete. An estate agent from wye came round to value our flat and told us his valuation which I did not agree with but he said this is how the market is at the moment. I explained that our flat has been been completely renovated and had a lease extension but don’t think he was listening. Went to JNP and there valuation was spot on and we sold 5 days later minus 3000 from sale price. If we went with wye on his valuation we would have lost 32000. Maybe wye should do training and could help to have a better understanding of lease extensions. So be warned if you get a valuation from wye get a second value. Don’t think it was a case of buck the trend. It was just a mistake regarding a valuation
