I cannot rate Hilton King and Locke highly enough, particularly Jenny Hall (Head of Lettings). From my first contact with Jenny, she has gone above and beyond to find a wonderful home for my wife and I to rent. Unlike many of the other estate agents I had spent weeks trying to contact to arrange viewings, Jenny got back to me almost immediately and booked me into to see two properties at short notice, the first of which we loved and ultimately rented. This was particularly helpful because my wife and I had only a short amount of time to find a property to rent and were returning from having lived overseas for two years. Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and transparent which was also very reassuring for me as a tenet. Once we moved into the property, Jenny and the entire Hilton Locke and King team have been fantastic in resolving a few teething problems which are an inevitable part of renting any property. Not only did Jenny work tirelessly to coordinate between us and the landlord but she also intervened with several third parties to help get our issue resolved. The issues were dealt with promptly and with great sensitivity and care. More than that, Jenny was incredibly personable with my wife, to the extent that she went as far as to buy my wife flowers, something which was incredibly appreciated as we waited for an issue to be resolved. I really cannot rate Hilton Locke and King highly enough. Having previously had some bad experiences renting, I never thought that I would be writing such a positive review for an estate agent. If you are looking for a property to rent in and around the Langley area as we were, however, Hilton Locke and King come strongly recommended.

At the start they were really good, however as time went on it appeared that at times the communication between the staff was not great. More the man in sales, didn’t appear to know details came across at times as quite pushy . Esp when we had done everything they requested! We did have to do a lot of chasing for information at times as well.

I’ve been renting a property for the past 3 years from a lovely lady that uses Hilton King & Locke as her agent. I have to say from start to finish HKL have been great! in particular I wish to mention Jenny Hall. I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jenny in person but she has been my main contact at HKL from day one. I’m moving now as I have managed to buy somewhere but HKL have been a lovely estate agent to deal with over the years. Jenny Hall has always made herself available when I needed anything and has always been super quick at responding and dealing with any issues. Even the process of new potential tentants coming to view the flat have been done with the least inconvenience to me thanks to Jenny. Having had my property on the market for almost two years with another agent and unsuccessfully didn’t sell my property, I decided a change of agent was needed. When I first met Ciara Evans, straight away, her manner warm, friendly and professional. She booked an appointment quickly and came to value the flat on the same day. She helps when others estate agents don’t attempt and just say SORRY without talking with landlords to see if they would agree.
