We were renting a property from chancellors that we then purchased. Over a month post purchase they still haven’t paid us back our deposit - they don’t answer us when we chase and still can’t give us a timeline even though the payment was agreed over a month ago.

A review for Shelby Chandler-Wootton as she was our middle to last contact who helped achieve what we thought was the impossible. She went out of her way to make sure our buyer was getting stuff done. We believe between her and a 3rd party involved with the purchase of our new home, they got this done on time! We thank you so much for pushing our buyer because we soon learnt a few weeks after moving that they had absolutely no interest in living in our old home and have now LET this out thus confirming why it was more stressful waiting on them getting documents sent (they didnt really care it seemed, either too layed back or incompetent). We genuinely thought we were going to lose our buyer 1 week before Completion and by this point, both us and our sellers were already underway with moving and selling items. Shelby did what she could to get this over the line so we thank you!

My interactions during my search for a house with Hannah have been so wonderful, and one that needs recognition. Despite the negatives I got from friends regarding how less helpful the chancellor would be for me to find a house, was proven wrong through her and other team members i come across when I visited the office. She was professional and supportive all the way, until a house was found. I am so grateful to the institution and her. God be with you all as you continue supporting the community. GoogleI opted for Chancellors initially because of good impressions during the initial home inspection / valuation discussion, where they could see the good qualities through the somewhat 'fix-up' state of the property and were very friendly and honest about likely outcomes. This is the first property I have ever sold and the process was easy, the team were very helpful and available for calls or to answer emails whenever I needed. We matched with some ideal local buyers and managed to exchange without any complications. Not to mention they had also sold a number of properties on the same street during the same period, which gave me a boost in confidence. I would recommend Chancellors, friendly and realistic, great communication, and achieved a price I was very happy with.

GoogleHorrific estate agents who lie and lie to try and get buisness. They booked a viewing for our property for 1pm and cancelled it without informing us. We left the house with the dogs for the viewing (which did not happen) and tried and failed to contact ANYONE at the office to try and understand why no one showed up for the viewing. We have wasted 5 hours of our Saturday getting the house ready to be viewed for the viewing to be cancelled by chancellors (not the potential buyer) at the last moment with no communication.
