There was never an issue which Russell & Butler couldn't solve. With all the internal issues experienced, a prompt solution was found. The contractors which they work with were all exceptionally professional and thorough. The team at Russell and Butler are all very helpful and especially accommodating for University students. I highly recommend to all! A great agency to rent with! 10/10

The Russell & Butler experience worked wonders for us. This was for my parents who are in their 90s and were selling their bungalow to allow them to move into a new flat in a retirement village. R & B were extremely sensitive to my parents needs, and spent unlimited time with them In their own home helping them to negotiate their way through all the complexities of the sale and legal procedures. They quickly found a buyer and kept close to the legal people along the chain to ensure that the sale was completed In time for us to achieve an early completion discount. Thanks to everyone at R & B, but especially to Tracey who was our partner throughout this process.

I have only praise for the service I received from R & B during the recent selling of my late parents’ home. What was a daunting task for me having never been directly involved in selling a property, let alone ones family home, and having to do it without any other family support R & B guided me through the procedure from the initial meeting with Brian to the final correspondence from Tracy. All staff (Brian, Nick, Michelle, Cheryl, Olivia, Alice and Tracey) that I had dealings with were professional and took time to treat you as an individual. Communication was good and I was never left out of the loop. Thank you all and I have no hesitation in recommending R & B to future sellers/buyers.

I had to sell a family home in Buckingham remotely. The minute I met with the team I was impressed. Sold within a day but the more important work is done behind the scenes with their sales advancement team. Council, buyers, solicitors, deeds, certificates etc. can slow things down. This team keeps the deal moving. If I could give more than 5 STARS I would.

I rented a 1 bedroom property through Russell and Butler with my partner. If we hadn't of had our son then we would of stayed there. They are an excellent estate agents, from start to finish they have all been very helpful. A few names I would like to mention are Stephanie, Rachel, Debbie and Matthew. We have been renting our house out with R & B since August 2018. The management service is very professional and removes all the hard work for the landlord. Any queries we have had have always been answered promptly and any maintenance issues have been dealt with efficiently. Sales Fantasy meets Reality- it is blurred to say the least. In my experience I have found them to be duplicit, economic with the truth and under value property. Manipulative feedback and unpleasant to do business with. Could not recommend.
I was in two minds whether to respond or not, however the more I thought about it, the more unjust I feel your comments are. This transaction has never been straightforward and what amazes me is that most of the delays were caused by you moving the goal posts and subsequently being completely inflexible on anything. This includes a time delay so long it cost the chain to lose a first-time buyer whose mortgage offer ran out which could not be renewed. This somehow became our fault. When another buyer was found out of area, not by us, that buyer also pulled out, still seemingly our fault. At this point despite our buyers offering considerably more than their original accepted offer you sold to someone else by another agent. At that another complete chain was in place but you chose the other party. Meanwhile we continued to push on with the chain to the point where they were all, but for a couple of points, ready to exchange. Our buyers then offered even more on the basis an exchange of contracts could take place by a given date and they were prepared to move in with relatives to meet your now new completion date. The reason they wanted the exchange by a certain date was so they could complete their sale allowing their buyer to save their own mortgage offer, otherwise the rate would increase so high she could no longer afford to move. As you will no doubt be aware the mortgage market is in turmoil currently and your buyers found that unknown to them their lenders criteria had changed and they were no longer able to extend their mortgage offer to tie in with your completion date. Perfectly justifiable reason to request an earlier date but again your inflexibility came to the fore and you decided to drop them again in favour of your other buyer. To be honest how you have treated our buyers has been cruel, they have hung on through thick and thin and done everything they could to buy your house. The following is an extract from our buyers about us: "I will say though that you have been nothing but utterly professional and have had the utmost tact and diplomacy when dealing with such a difficult woman. We thank you for that and the hard work you have put in for us. You’ve gone above and beyond the call of duty in trying to secure us a home." I am happy we acted correctly, honestly and professionally at all times.

Wether it was to arrange viewing or chase solicitors all have been extremely helpful, polite and attentive even though we are not strictly their client. An extremely professional service.

FacebookUnder valued our property, Didn't feed back to our buyers after being advised our purchase was probate, lack of communication, completely unaware of what stage we were at and tried to tell me great news we cann exchange in the next 24hrs and completely unaware there was another issue AGAIN plus they are .5% above everyone else in the local area, no I would not recommend Russell and butler and when I took it up with Nick butler him self he tried to blame the solicitor for a proportion of it, GUESS WHAT !!! it was the solicitor they recommended, I would not recommend this agent at ALL.

We are sure the whole sale would have been much more stressful without her interventions. There are estate agents, negotiators and then there are genuine case progressors like Tracey. I’m a mortgage broker and my customers chose to buy a property from this estate agent. Nothing was too much trouble for Tracey and despite the looming stamp duty deadline, we managed to complete in time. I can honestly say I wish I was located geographically closer, as all my purchases would be a lot smoother in her hands! Big thank you from me.
