GoogleI had to get a property with very short notice. Annette showed me some properties within a few days and I moved in the next week. All went smoothly and they looked after me every step of the way. The rental was very clean and tidy. Highly recommend and thank you for helping me.

GoogleHad a great experience with these guys when my wife and I bought our first home earlier this year. From first contact to completion they did a fantastic job and kept us up to date with goings on when we were not hearing much from our solicitors. We mostly dealt with Michelle and Brian and cannot thank them enough for putting our minds at ease during an otherwise anxious time as first time buyers. We recently bought our first house through Russell & Butler and couldn’t be more happy. The service from our first viewing was impeccable. The majority of houses we viewed in Buckingham were through russell & butler as they had the best selection but they were also the most proactive in terms of recommending new properties that would suit us. We had to complete and exchange on the same day which we couldn’t have done without the help of Tracey. We appreciate all Cheryl and Brian’s help throughout and couldn’t recommend them more!

We recently completed on a flat which was being sold by R&B. We have chosen R&B to take care of our rental properties for almost 5 years and have never had a problem whatsoever. Nothing is a problem, just a resolution!Lisa and her team in rentals are great and continue to maintain a fair and honest approach to both landlords and tenants which we are very happy with.During the recent purchase we were appointed a lovely lady called Tracey who was our sales coordinator throughout. She was absolutely fantastic, she kept us informed of all stages, gave us a nudge when we needed to act on something, and ultimately made the process run smoothly (although all purchases have bumps!)On the days running up to completion she was fantastic and I honestly don’t think we would have completed by now had it not been for her. Thank you very much Rachel, other agents should take note of having somebody in the role you do as it is great for seller and buyer alike!

We purchased our house through R&B with the help of Cheryl. We were highly impressed from day one with her service and professionalism in finding us the right home.Cheryl went over and above what she had to do, even to the point that on the day on Completion Barclays Bank crashed so funds couldn't be transferred so potentially we would have been homeless over the BH Weekend. Thanks to Cheryl lasing with all the solicitors involved we got our keys at 4pm that day.As for the rest of the team, we have always been made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Always recommend R&B to our friends & neighbours.

GoogleI cannot recommend Russell & Butler enough! There kind staff, the amazing back and forth communication. Which was so informative with everything I needed. There was always helpful links to help my busy lifestyle complete everything. Overall all the team work really hard in making sure you feel comfortable and settled into your property. The pre inspection on a rented property really helped me which i thought was amazing and in detail. Special thank you to Debbie Rowe for her back and forth communication and all her lovely help, and to Matthew Russell who helped us secure the property and showed us around. GoogleRussell and Butler have been fantastic to deal with. Today, we picked up the keys for our home as first time buyers. This wouldn't have been possible without the team being so proactive. Michelle was fantastic from letting us know about a house coming on the market that ticked all the boxes of our criteria. We quickly made an offer that was accepted! From there, Nick has been great at keeping us updated on all the steps up to completion. Overall, I would recommend Russell and Butler to anyone I know and only have good things to say about them. GoogleA very knowledgeable agent with our area. Research was thorough as we agreed the marketing price. The photos and video tour were outstanding. Only 2 viewings and sold within first week. Moving is always stressful but the team worked really hard behind the scenes to keep pushing to Exchange Contracts. GoogleI cannot recommend Russell and Butler highly enough. From the initial valuation by Cheryl, to the photography and office based support the team have been fantastic. We received three offers within a week of going to market and the sales team were well briefed as to the position of each so we could make an informed decision. During our valuation appointment Cheryl described Tracey - their Sales Progresser as so efficient she fits a two week holiday in a week and how right she was! Tracey was tenacious in pushing forward the sale, always well briefed on the progress of our sale and always happy to receive calls. Tracey did much of the chasing that really should have been done by other agents in the chain and without her we would not have completed the sale within the stamp duty holiday. From beginning to end Russell and Butler provided an exceptional service and I would without hesitation both recommend them and use them again.

GoogleRight from the start of our purchase process through to completion, this agent assured us with a confident, professional attitude through out. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The initial Sale process went smoothly but we ran into troubles & delays in other parts of the sales chain. These were sorted to the benefit of the whole chain by Russell & Butler. There was nothing pushy in there attitude to the Sale, they all just got on with the job in hand. I cannot speak highly enough of this company and recommend to all looking to buy or sell a property.

GoogleDuplicitous, treacherous and inefficient. There is a complete failure to follow instructions and in my case they undervalued my house by 12.5% and then tried to blame me! Use this agency at your peril
I was in two minds whether to respond or not, however the more I thought about it, the more unjust I feel your comments are. This transaction has never been straightforward and what amazes me is that most of the delays were caused by you moving the goal posts and subsequently being completely inflexible on anything. This includes a time delay so long it cost the chain to lose a first-time buyer whose mortgage offer ran out which could not be renewed. This somehow became our fault. When another buyer was found out of area, not by us, that buyer also pulled out, still seemingly our fault. At this point despite our buyers offering considerably more than their original accepted offer you sold to someone else by another agent. At that another complete chain was in place but you chose the other party. Meanwhile we continued to push on with the chain to the point where they were all, but for a couple of points, ready to exchange. Our buyers then offered even more on the basis an exchange of contracts could take place by a given date and they were prepared to move in with relatives to meet your now new completion date. The reason they wanted the exchange by a certain date was so they could complete their sale allowing their buyer to save their own mortgage offer, otherwise the rate would increase so high she could no longer afford to move. As you will no doubt be aware the mortgage market is in turmoil currently and your buyers found that unknown to them their lenders criteria had changed and they were no longer able to extend their mortgage offer to tie in with your completion date. Perfectly justifiable reason to request an earlier date but again your inflexibility came to the fore and you decided to drop them again in favour of your other buyer. To be honest how you have treated our buyers has been cruel, they have hung on through thick and thin and done everything they could to buy your house. The following is an extract from our buyers about us: "I will say though that you have been nothing but utterly professional and have had the utmost tact and diplomacy when dealing with such a difficult woman. We thank you for that and the hard work you have put in for us. You’ve gone above and beyond the call of duty in trying to secure us a home." I am happy we acted correctly, honestly and professionally at all times.
