I’ve recently interacted with several estate agents, and unfortunately, my experience with Sinclair Hamilton stood out for the wrong reasons. My communication with Freya was particularly disappointing, she was consistently rude, condescending, and dismissive with constant comments like - ' I'm going to advise the seller to go with a different buyer' or 'we had other better buyers, maybe we should gone ahead with them' or 'You think we cannot get another buyer, we are well known' every time I asked for clarity. As a serious buyer, faced with scare tactics and constant bullying, I decided to withdraw. On multiple occasions, I was given misleading information, which appeared to be an attempt to push a sale rather than support a fair and transparent process. For those considering selling through this agency, it’s worth thinking about how buyers are being treated. Unprofessional conduct and poor communication can directly affect buyer interest and trust. Most concerningly, it raises questions around whether all offers are being properly communicated to vendors, which, as a legal requirement, should not be overlooked.

Sinclair Hammelton are absolutely fantastic! I had such a great experience when selling my house with Emilia from the Petts Wood branch, as she was persistent (without being annoying!), tenacious and really works hard for her clients. She managed to sell our house before it had hit the open market - at over the asking price! After selling our house, Emilia knew we were staying with family whilst looking to purchase our long-term residential home. We had quite a few boxes to tick and so we're taking our time to find the right place. Emilia contacted me a couple of months after selling our house to tell me she'd moved to the Bromley branch of Sinclair Hammelton. This was good news for us as it covered the area we were looking to buy in. Emilia knew what was important to us in our onward purchase and believed she had found the perfect house for us - but it was out of our budget! Emilia was so persistent in trying to convince us to view the property, but we were reluctant to do so as we knew we couldn't stretch to anywhere near the asking price. We finally went to see it and knew Emilia was right - this was THE house! Emilia worked with us and the seller to try to get it to within our budget, and our offer was accepted! We had certain deadlines we needed to hit for exchange and completion, and things were ticking along fine until Emilia dropped the bombshell that she was leaving Sinclair Hammelton! Emilia assured us that her branch manager Luke had all of the relevant information and would do just what we needed. True to her word, Luke was brilliant. He understood our needs, and worked with us to get what we needed. I would recommend Luke and his team in a heartbeat as they truly understand how to work with a customer, understand their needs and make sure they are met! Even upon completion of our new home, I had my two young children in the car and Dean came to my meet me at my car in the pouring rain to give me the house keys! It's the small things that matter as these are the things that set aside this fantastic estate agent from any other. Emilia, Luke, Dean and the rest of the team at Bromley Sinclair Hammelton are so good at what they do - don't bother going anywhere else!

My experience with the Bromley branch has been nothing but exceptional. The Branch Manager Emily put as at ease straight away and was very thorough when our house was brought to market. Emily assigned us to Jak Wheeler who has been our agent from the start. We went under offer fairly quickly but unfortunately we experienced difficulties with our appointed solicitor, which has dragged out the process somewhat! This caused a lot of stress but Jak has helped enormously in keeping the lines of communication open with both our buyer and the sellers of my onward purchase. Without his skills of negotiation the whole chain would have collapsed. Jak has gone above an beyond to help me drive the sale and purchase forward and I am truly grateful for his patience and for being so proactive with keeping all parties informed and even intervened with the solicitor when needed. If I ever move again, I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this branch and it's high standard of service.
