GoogleThanks to Pippa at Spencer's Brockenhurst branch my husband and I are now living in a gem of house in the middle of a golf course. We first met Pippa whilst viewing a house we had found online, a stunning house but completely unsuitable for us. After a short chat about what we were actually looking for Pippa took us straight to Blackhamsley House. Less than three months later we were holding the keys. At the same time Spencers enabled the sale of our old property and also the purchase of a second property, the sales of which all happened to our specified timeline - a miracle! We can't thank Pippa enough for her absolute professionalism yet super friendly approach - we will not be moving for a while!

GoogleWe sent an enquiry very late Friday night about a property new to the market & were given an appointment to see it the very next day which I was delighted with. When we arrived we were a little unsure of parking & access and as if by magic, Pippa, the agent from Spencers, phoned and guided us to the correct spot. It was clear from the outset that she was very familiar with all aspects of the house that would be of interest to us as prospective buyers, she had obviously spent some time & effort getting to know the property & understanding what was special about it. Pippa was great at getting onboard with our explorative thoughts on the potential the house and grounds held for us whilst maintaining the upmost respect for the home the vendors had created & loved for may years. Looking for property in a certain ‘price bracket’ we have found many other agents to be aloof and sometimes verging on condescending. It’s a daunting task for us having only been through this process once before & it really helped to have someone guide us with gentle enthusiasm rather than a pushy, haughty time tapper. Good customer service is a dying art it would seem but with the perfect balance of professionalism & approachability Pippa is definitely an asset to Spencers.

Despite the challenging housing market all of the team have worked tirelessly to get potential buyers to view the houses and then give us proceedable offers. Melanie Gwilliam was our help and strength throughout the process. She was informed, kind and always kept us up to date on what was either happening, or even more important, what was not happening. Mel did not fail to return calls from us, sometimes very late in the afternoon after her many duties were accomplished. We remain grateful to Rob Batten, Director of Spencers for all of his specialised help. We cannot speak too highly of how professional, and more important to me, humanly kind both Rob and Mel have been. Nothing was too much trouble and our questions were always answered promptly. She went above and beyond, always being on hand when she could, to allow us to view the house as many times as we did (even after we had agreed to purchase it ).
