I recently purchased my first home through Richard Harding and had a genuinely positive experience. Communications were consistently prompt, and the advice given was thoughtful and reassuring, it made a potentially stressful process feel well-supported from start to finish. While there was a slight hiccup in the handover due to a departing agent, this was quickly and seamlessly addressed without any need for follow-up on my part. I was passed directly to a Partner, Linda, who was excellent, professional, responsive, and clearly invested in the outcome. From my very first viewing, Penny offered a compelling vision of what the property could become, which really helped me stay motivated through the buying process. I was really impressed with the service at Richard Harding. We originally bought the house from the estate agents in 2007 and then used them again to sell, 17 years later. I liked the fact that their local knowledge and realistic market pricing set them apart. Peter had given me a few valuations on the property over the years until I was ready to put it on the market. I was given detailed feedback on all the viewings from the agents.When I did accept an offer, the agent Ben was essential in getting the sale across the line. He kept the lines of communication open between myself, the buyers and their solicitor. When selling or buying a house, you can be left in the dark with what stage the process is at and there is a lot of form filling in property selling these days. Having an estate agent who is willing to take the time to communicate what is happening when your solicitor is too busy to do so is helpful! Fantastic service from the team at Richard Harding. This time I have experienced their high standards as a seller, having originally bought the flat from them some years ago. Tom West has been excellent in dealing with all the proceedings. Due to unforeseeable circumstances completion took a bit longer than anticipated. However, all throughout, Tom kept on top of any issues, communicating with both parties and keeping us updated on any developments. Toward the end, he proactively help solve a couple of hurdles quickly and efficiently so that the transaction went through smoothly as possible on completion day. I am very grateful for the extra effort from Tom, especially as I was selling remotely. I would highly recommend Richard Harding to anyone selling in Bristol and would use them again without question!

Our estate agents Richard Harding were outstanding from start to finish. We managed to sell our house in 2021, but then were unable to buy anywhere else due to the very buoyant market. When we found a property at the beginning of 2024, we were easily able to remarket our house and within three weeks had put it back on the market and sold it subject to contract, ensuring we were able to secure our new home. The support and information we had from all Richard Harding staff was excellent and in particular Neil Muirhead handled both sales in a highly professional and supportive manner. When his work was taken over by Peter Sharland, we continue to have excellent service and regular updates. 2024 Below is the post we made in 2019 when looking for property in Bristol. That was the reason we decided to use Richard Harding, but this time to sell the property that we bought in 2019. The service provided has been excellent; professional, friendly, efficient and most importantly RH found us some great buyers. Whilst we had dealt with a few of the team Tom West has been our main contact and he has been superb. We would highly recommend Richard Harding, they truly understand the local market and offer a special service. 2019 During 2019 we had been searching for a property in Bristol. We are experienced home owners and have bought and sold many houses over 35 years. Over this time Ben Woollams from Richard Harding is probably the best Estate Agent we have worked with. We were originally looking for a 4 bed house then life plans changed and various major events happened, and instead we ended up buying a 1 bed flat. All the way through the 10 month process Richard HardIng were amazing, and it was definitely an added positive whenever we found that a house we liked the look of was on with them. Several Richard Harding agents showed us multiple properties, and each one of them treated us with not just courtesy and respect throughout, but also personal kindness and support. They were always completely honest too, treating us as their clients as much as the sellers, and never trying to pull the wool over our eyes about any potential negatives of the properties. We also appreciated the fact that they always made an huge effort to fit in viewings at times when we could get over to Bristol from the east of England. When we finally found the perfect place they made the actual process of buying as quick, straightforward and as low stress as possible. They even brought us a delicious cake (shout out to Divino in Clifton!) on the day we moved in. When/if we come to sell we will definitely choose them!
