Lily and team made my first home purchase easy and quick. They were very responsive and helpful when answering any questions I had as a first time buyer. With the online system you can easily keep track of where you are in the process. My house purchase was completed in about 2 months. I would not hesitate to use Ocean again in the future.

GoogleHighly recommend using Ocean Estate Agents, Southville, for any home purchase. They were responsive and transparent throughout the entire purchasing process from day one. The house viewings are professionally managed; Rhia was very useful showing us around a number of properties, as were a number of other members of staff who were informative and welcoming without being forceful or creating a rush. Carrie, our Move Manager, was particularly helpful and was always on the ball chasing for updates, even when things became cloudy, unclear and a little bit frustrating at points (at no fault of Ocean). It's somewhat unfortunate for Ocean that the majority of people will end up picking a home through Rightmove without any consideration of the estate agent; seeing that a home is sold through Ocean as an estate agent would be a huge factor in influencing me to purchase that property in the future. GoogleAlthough the rental market is inherently exploitative, Ocean has been extremely helpful in helping us to navigate it. Many thanks to Georgia for making this painful process much easier than it otherwise would have been. Contracts sent within a couple of hours and landlord's consent obtained the next morning. She really helped in alleviating my paranoia with fast and helpful responses. Very convenient indeed! Renting is usually a pain in the arse, so make it easy for yourself and go with Ocean.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Elizabeth was great at communicating progression. I never met her but her emails were efficient and prompt. Viewings..A little more respect of the house would be appreciated, footprints etc. Admittedly the property was empty and needed an overhaul but it was an emotional attachment and home.Overall a good outcome, and would use again if needed.

She was professional and incredibly helpful. Within 24 hours of viewing the property, we were able to fill out necessary paperwork to start our tenancy. We used ocean estate agents and solicitors for the purchase of our flat in Bristol. We would not recommend them at all. We were assured that by using ocean solicitors communication would be easier but if anything it was a hindrance as they played each other off against themselves, with us in the middle. About 80% of documents we received had errors in, including our names (several times), purchase price, amounts owed etc. We never got an update without chasing and important documents weren’t shared with us unless we asked to see them.We were given incorrect information by the estate agents upon our initial viewing, which was then repeatedly confirmed by them despite legal documents stating otherwise. This had a big impact on the buying process from our side.Our experience was one of poor communication, constant mistakes and lack of professionalism.
