Being new to selling a property, I had no idea what I was doing, I contacted Joel from Hunters office in Fishponds, we met up at the property and he talked me through the process, quickly accessed the house and explained the timescale. We quickly agreed on the valuation, and started to get it listed. All I had to do was sign one form and hand over a key, couldn't have been easier, Joel was a pleasure to deal with, very professional but easy going, no pressure or sales banter. The photos were taken the next day and the property listed, on-line by day 3. Viewings came quickly and I was updated by email at every stage, Joel offered advice about presentation of the house and within a week of so an offer was made, I accepted and the sale went along easily, Joel was always very quick to respond to emails, even late in the day. Hunters really know the area and market, their valuation was exactly what I was offered. Excellent service and I will be using the again soon ! Thanks !

We have just sold our house with Hunters and can't sing their praises enough. We switched estate agents after being on the market for over 9 months and were so glad we did. Within 2 weeks we had an offer. The sell wasn't as straight forward as we'd have liked but Joel went above and beyond to help us work through the various challenges and communicated quickly and professionally throughout. We really couldn't have completed the sale without his efforts. Thanks Joel. Whilst we mainly dealt with Joel we were impressed by all members of the team and highly recommend them.

This is a very delayed review but one I definitely need to write! We had an exceptional experience with Hunters. The sales process was challenging and I am not confident we would be in this house now if it weren’t for Joel and the teams efforts in pushing to keep the process moving. I also feel they went above and beyond to ensure the moving in process was as smooth as possible. Overall we are very grateful that Hunters Fishponds were the estate agent in our house purchase. I would highly recommend them.

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

Honestly couldn’t recommend this team enough. Extremely friendly, competent and communicative, they sold my flat for me within a very speedy two weeks of it being on the market! I first met Mark when I bought my flat from hunters and he was so lovely that I decided I would sell it with them many years later- very glad I did! Awful customer service

I remain deeply disappointed in the way my most recent complaint has been handled at their Newcastle branch. The way the branch manager speaks to tenants is appalling! If you have a complaint then don’t expect any sympathy or accountability. We have rented this property for 11 years and in that time, we have been superb tenants but sadly that doesn’t mean anything to them. I anticipate a reply to this which will more than likely attempt to completely contradict what I’ve written here but just know that our experience has not been a positive one!

1 bed property Sparks Close, Dagenham, RM8 - Landlord and hunters agent where complicit in illegal procedures regarding discrimination. We went through all the paper work and wasted 2 weeks till they call me and tell me the Landlord dont want a baby in the property. Don't trust them slow untrust worthy. And definitely dont rent the sparks close 1 bed property, Landlord seems like a handful save your self
