GoogleThe vendors are obviously John Hilton's clients but as the buyers, we felt just as valued. Enquires and a few problems were dealt with quickly and professionally. It's been a long time since we bought a house and it was reassuring to know that our agent, Tracy was so knowledgeable of the local area and the various things that needed to be done. A very positive experience.

Without his responsive and thoughtful action I might have missed out. This is the second time I'm leaving a review for Hiltons, the first was when I sold and this time is I'm buying. GoogleJohn Hilton has managed my flat for more than a decade and I was very happy with how Kimberley Golds managed my refurb. The flat needed some TLC and is now looking lovely and occupied with happy new tenants.

GoogleI cannot recommend John Hilton enough for renting. Our property manager Jade has been absolutely brilliant with us, and is always so helpful whenever we’ve needed anything. I don’t think we’d ever rent through anyone else!

GoogleHaving used John Hilton for my last tenancy I would not recommend them. They show a lack of interest in dealing with complaints, always passing it off as nothing to do with them. The property 76a Bonchurch Road should be avoided at all costs. I lived there for 15 months without missing rent and was still evicted with no reason. Landlord then added insult by not dealing with the release of the deposit in a timely fashion, even stating " It will get sorted when it gets sorted". DO NOT USE THIS AGENT.
I am aware that the relationship between yourself and your landlady has unfortunately broken down. I understand your frustration however, this is not in any way connected to John Hiltons LTD as we do not and have never managed the property in question. Your security deposit is protected by the DPS and as such there is a time frame and rules which apply to the scheme which are in place to protect you as a tenant. I appreciate that you are annoyed with your landlady but her correspondence is totally unrelated to John Hiltons LTD and your frustration with our company is unwarranted. We work very hard to bring excellent service to our landlords and tenants alike and feel under the circumstances your review is harsh, unfair and misdirected

GoogleHad a very smooth buying experience with Tracy Ewington overseeing the sale, organising access to the property on a number of occasions for measuring, showing my parents and arranging for the fences to be fixed, sheds and rubble at the property to be removed, and chased the sellers for responses for a speedy sale!

Everyone I dealt with proved helpful all the way through but I must specially point out how Tracy would always be willing to chat things through and worked tirelessly over what proved to be pretty challenging circumstances. I'd really recommend John Hilton as an Estate Agent par excellence.

He treated the repair as if the flat we were staying in was one of his own. Excellent with communication and very polite and calm. I'd say a credit to Hiltons.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleI write this in all sincerity and pain, I only wish I wasn’t quick in dropping a review a year ago praising them. I hope other international students see this and trade carefully. I rented a 6 bed house alongside other 5 girls with John Hilton Agent, during our tenancy, my house mates and I lived in this house with utmost care. Upon vacating, we used a cleaning service company recommended by this same Agent and left the house in almost a new state. 7 weeks later since our tenancy ended, our deposit hasn’t been returned. The worst part was the level of lack of professionalism, long delay to responding to emails, it’s almost like they’re avoiding us. Eventually when they got back, we’re being charged for things ordinarily we shouldn’t have been charged for covered under the wear and tear clause including rubbish disposal, despite not leaving rubbish in the house. I sincerely recommend this Agency re-evaluate it’s end of tenancy dealings with students considering that students make up a huge population of its clients. I’m really pained about my end of tenancy experience and the continued neglect from the Agency. As at today, we haven’t seen a certificate of our deposit being insured. Folks, be careful.

GoogleVery friendly staff, helpful when looking for a property. House is lovely, and great communication with any questions or issue. Only thing I would say is the deposit amount is quite high for student housing, but I suppose that is something that you'll get everywhere! Very happy with John Hilton and our house!

GoogleGreat Estate Agents, small effective team of professionals. All communications were responded to promptly and was kept in the loop regularly to progress from advertising till completion. The advert was excellent but felt it was the proactive approach of contact with buyers that got such a quick sale. A lovely bunch of honest staff, I would always use for selling or buying. Highly recommend.
