Having just completed on the sale of a property I cannot recommend Maslen Woodingdean enough. Selling the property with my sister Julie we enlisted the services of Maslen as selling agents. From start to finish we received support, advice, regular updates & assistance whilst navigating through the challenges selling a property can sometimes raise. Brittany communicates professionally & efficiently & on the days where she was out of the office Marc was on hand to answer any queries we had. They say that moving house is one of the most stressful events to happen in life - yet working alongside Neill and the team we found the opposite to be true. Their transparency, timeliness and positivity made our move a real pleasure! Neill listened to our wants and needs, and found us a home that met them. As as a Brit living in another country I recently experienced buying a home through Maslen Estate Agency in which Sharon was the listing agent. Sharon was, without a doubt, the most involved agent I have ever had the pleasure of communicating with. We bought our house through maslen and it is only after dealing with other estate agents that you realise how above and beyond Sharon will go for you. I genuinely believe Sharon is the only reason we were able to complete the sale. When the sellers became uncooperative and it looked like the sale had stalled completely sharon went out of her way to get paperwork sorted, was available at all times to answer and questions I had and was instrumental in getting the sale completed. I would recommend them 100%, there is no need to consider anyone else. Thanks Sharon!

If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Sharon and Erin worked so hard helping with the sale of my property. I placed my property on the market at the beginning of the Covid lockdown and they were there helping and supporting me throughout. They all went above and beyond what I expected from an estate agent. Sharon and Erin were always on the other end of the phone or I could pop into the office anytime and they were there supporting me. I felt like we had a good relationship and I could ask anything and they would be there to answer any questions that I had. I would highly recommend this office for the support and friendly manner which they give to their clients. Thanks again to both for helping me sell my property, and move to my new home.

We recently bought a house through Maslen Woodingdean. Sharon and her team Erin and Josh were fantastic, very helpful and kept in regular contact with us right the way through. There were a few stressful moment especially as we approached the Stamp Duty exemption deadline and Sharon worked especially hard to get things moving along. We sold our property privately which was very stressful, Sharon offered advice when needed and phoned our buyers at one point when things got difficult. I would highly recommend Maslen estate agents for buying or selling a property.

The service we received from Maslen Estate Agents in Woodingdean was literally exceptional. In particular Josh, who without doubt went above and beyond to secure our complicated property purchase; his open, friendly and 'can do' attitude made us feel like his only clients. We have dealt with many estate agents over the years but can honestly say we have never experienced such a lovely team as those at the Maslen Woodingdean. We were able to contact them (Josh and Erin) regularly for updates and questions without ever feeling demanding or annoying. Josh was not just professional and efficient but also outstanding in his tenacity to get the sale through and help us in every way he possible could. Ours was a complex probate purchase and we genuinely would have withdrawn our offer if it had not been for Josh and his commitment to help us proceed. I can’t thank Josh, Sharon and the team enough. We had previously had a very bad experience with Steve, at another estate agents in the area. It made me extremely wary of lies and deceptive behaviour. Our property is the one that a lot of people in Woodingdean know from George Clarke’s amazing spaces from TV. It’s quite an unusual property, not to everyone’s taste and needed PROFESSIONALS to sell it! From the moment Josh and Sharon had our property on the books, we felt a great sense of calm. They are the perfect team, giving honest answers and sincere behaviour in their dealings. It only took 2 weeks before we secured a buyer, and then the process began which was helped immensely by the honest way that they dealt with us. Very disappointing experience. My tenancy agreement was illegally cancelled due to poor management on their part and failure to ensure the property was actually being vacated in time for my tenancy and as a result I’ve had to scramble last minute to find suitable accommodation. No compensation was offered and I honestly would not recommend them.

Dave Maslen came around to give me a quote towards the end of 2018 to sell our house . I also decided to get a quote from purplebricks as I’d seen all the advertising on TV . £1000 with purplebricks or £4000 with Maslen’s . I picked purplebricks as I thought it was a no brainer . Dave did his utmost to persuade me to go with Maslen’s but my mind was made up and I was sure that I knew a bargain when I saw one ! Suffice to say after near on 6 months with purplebricks with absolutely zero viewings to show for it I went tail between legs back to Maslen’s to ask for forgiveness and give them a try as I knew the market was quite slow . Sharon and her team worked wonders with a constant stream of viewings each providing invaluable feedback afterwards . I came to trust and respect them all . We managed to get a buyer quite quickly and again the support and service was impeccable from the Woodingdean branch . I cannot commend Maslen’s enough and would recommend them to all my friends and family without hesitation . Thank you so much for all of your invaluable help !!

Not usually one for leaving a review I feel Sharon & the team at Maslen Woodingdean are more than worthy! Myself & my wife used Maslen Estate Agents to sell both our house and my parent's house in Woodingdean. There were a few issues with the sale along the way, but with the help of Sharon and the team we reached our goal. The whole team went above and beyond what was expected in order to liaise with myself, my wife and the buyers to ensure that everybody remained positive and to drive the sale forward. With their help the sale was brought to completion and both parties were happy. They all kept us very well informed and made what could have been a stressful process quite straightforward. They were very honest and professional at all times and didn't mind us getting touch even with the slightest query. When the viewings were taking place the communication from Maslen relating to how each viewing went was excellent in my opinion with immediate feedback after each viewing. We found Sharon and Megan very professional and approachable and, when Mark joined the team he took the time to call and introduce himself. I would like to thank them all for their hard work and persistence and we will definietly use them again in future ventures.

Reviews are not something I tend to do, however this is the one occasion it would gladly write one. I was looking for a house to buy in Woodingdean having lived there for 20 years. My position was tough due to budget and the price demanded for the area. Sharon and Megan were great nothing was to much trouble and they genuinely wanted to help me find the right place. A bungalow came up, (not quite what I was looking for) but I thought it is worth a look and Sharon thought it could be perfect. I fell in love with the place the moment I walked in the door and Sharon was right. Being in a good buying position helped make the purchase happen in 8 weeks, with the Maslen team working hard for both myself and the vendor. If only all estate agents were as good and easy to deal with as Sharon and her team. friendly, helpful and happy to help their clients.

I’ve done very few reviews but Sharon and her team deserve one.. from start to finish her and her team were fantastic... when we viewed the property, she immediately told us of a pending planning application on the plot behind, I’m sure most estate agents would not have mentioned.. but her honestly alowed us to appraise the property properly, and we decided to proceed.. having had our offer accepted, she went above and beyond to move the sale forward, she kept us informed and helped at every stage... we are now in our lovely new home and she is still forwarding post to the previous owner!!
