GoogleI cannot fault Marc at David & Co. He really went above and beyond to help me complete my purchase as quickly and as smoothly as possible. GoogleWe completed on our new home last week. We bought it through David & Co, and we worked mainly with David Coleby. He was friendly but professional throughout the process, and as he's been working in the Brighton housing market for a long time, he knows the pros and cons of the various areas and in some cases the individual apartment complexes. This was really useful. The best thing about working with David was his sense of calm. At several points there seemed to be serious issues which had been highlighted by our solicitor. David reassured us that these were quite normal points that come up regularly in conveyancing and he was right on every occasion. He resists drama and when we were completely stressed at one point he quietly pointed out that there was actually nothing serious to worry about. And he was right. Our purchase was completed in under 12 weeks and we are very happy and relieved that its done. I know we were lucky in such a quick completion but part of the luck was due to us picking a skilful and experienced agent to buy through. We recommend them completely and without hesitation. GoogleWe bought a flat that was listed by David and Co and would highly recommend them. The agent did a great job of emphasising the good features of the flat in a credible way. He stayed involved throughout the conveyancing process and was easy to reach, and in fact was a huge help when lawyers from both sides were being bothersome. Crucially, I felt I could trust David and Co throughout the process - such a valuable thing! Would happily list with them, or if buying again would see them being the agent as a real bonus.

GoogleHaving recently sold a house through David & Co I can't recommend them enough. They very much break the mould of the stereotypical estate agent. They know the market really well, they are proactive and are a real asset to navigate the complications of moving house. Never brash or pushy they quietly worked away on our behalf. Even when our first sale fell though they didn't panic, they changed their strategy on how to advertise the property and got it sold again within a week of putting it back on the market. They don't promise the earth, they just deliver

GoogleOver the years we have sold a number of properties through David & Co and they have become our go-to estate agents. They are easy to deal with, direct, helpful and have always been very active on our behalf. They have sometimes been more active than our solicitors in gaining information about the progress of sales up and down the chain, of highlighting problems and then attempting to deal with them. I have nothing but praise for their efforts to see our sales through to completion. They have also been very helpful in giving advice about what we might do, if anything, to make our property more saleable (including doing nothing!). I highly recommend them.

When going to sell our house in Fiveways there was no question of who we would be putting it on the market with, having dealt with David Coleby when looking to buy in the area 8 years previously. They are friendly, fair and highly effective at what they do, hence having the best reputation in the area. From the start of the process to the finish, we didn’t regret using David & Co one bit. David’s wealth of contacts secured us an over-asking price offer, and his experienced approach meant that when our chain got tricky towards the end, he was able to get it back on track, guiding us through the process and constantly coming up with solutions. Most of all, David is straight up and trustworthy, so you have none of the game playing you can feel with other agents. I’d have no hesitation in recommending them, as I have done to several friends in the area.

GoogleAs a vendor coming onto the market in January 2019, a difficult time seasonally and Brexit-wise, I initially found the attitude of David & Co disappointingly laid-back. Since I was keen to sell and wanted to see some action, I engaged several local estate agents, to maximise opportunities and introduce some healthy competition. However, it was ultimately David & Co who found the right buyer for me, their impressive experience and expertise proving invaluable. Despite various glitches/delays in the lengthy chain, they brought the sale to a successful conclusion and I am happy with the outcome.
