GoogleOutstanding service. We carefully researched who to sell our home with, meeting a number of agents and observed the marketing of nearby properties by different agents over several years. Sadly we saw time and again valuations that 2 minutes on Rightmove would expose as wildly implausible. Indifferent photos, amateurish text, rotting on Rightmove for months or years with multiple agents, huge reductions, sales falling through. We obviously wanted a good but sensible price that would be achieved allowing for the usual negotiations. We asked for a focus on buyers with funds secured in a position to proceed swiftly. We didn’t want a protracted sale dominating our lives. And we wanted to be in a strong position as buyers offering a robust speedy purchase to potential sellers. We decided to place our trust in a long established firm, crucially by professionals with extensive personal knowledge of selling houses like ours. David & Co met with us to agree terms, took photos, and 4 days later went live on Rightmove. We expected and received outstanding photos accompanied by well crafted intelligent, concise and straightforward text. We wanted and received viewers/buyers discreetly vetted. 10 viewings followed over 12 calendar days, of which many were second viewings, with a sale above expectations on the 12th day and multiple offers. David and Co then expertly and professional carried out the post sale negotiations on price, maintained amicable and sensitive communications with our buyers, our sellers agent, and all Solicitors, closely monitoring progress, and achieved exchange at 3 months and completion/move at 4 months. We think that’s a pretty good outcome in this current market. If you’re in the Golden Triangle with a large premium home, I think you’d be wise to market through David & Co.

Communication is great and they have kept me informed throughout the process. Their knowledge of the local area has been really helpful. I'm hoping never to move again, but would recommend David and Co to anyone doing so!

As out-of-towners he really helped us get our bearings and gave us valuable local knowledge plus a recommendation for a great solicitor too. Both Davids were extremely amiable and very helpful during the sale and were always on hand prior to completion when we needed constant access to the flat to show builders around etc.Their professional low key approach was very refreshing in a world of pushy estate agents. Their knowledge of the area was invaluable. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Moving during Covid was beset with problems mostly due to the length of time people at the beginning of our chain had been waiting. So pressure built up but David & Co were an experienced and reassuring presence. They helped to find solutions, support the chain and ensure our purchase went through and we are very grateful.

Their local knowledge, market insights and professionalism is second to none! They're extremely approachable, friendly, remarkably efficient and reliable; always responding to our calls/emails swiftly. Where we hit a few minor conveyancing hold-ups, David Coleby was very proactive in managing the relationship with our buyer, sensitively nurturing the sale along nicely. GoogleDavid and David are in my opinion , are the perfect estate agents. They have all the right skills to guide a sale through. They are genuinely good people , with years of experience, doing their best for both sellers and buyers . I have been in both sides of the process with them ( as well as others) -and they are outstanding. They get the job done better than others I have come across. No slime , all calm swans and genuinely helpful. Just as effective as anyone else. But with a wholesome ,low stress experience. All process advice, queries , form confusions ! and assistance, were knowledgeably and thoroughly covered by them..
