Really can’t fault them, EXCELLENT SERVICE! A worthy 5 stars and we rarely say that of any business. We have dealt with the letting team at Charles Dickens for a number of years and ALWAYS find them all very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Communication is very good, advice realistic and practical. They understand what we are looking for as caring landlords and do a very good job in matching tenants to property. We have no hesitation in recommending their services (which by the way are good value) and most definitely cannot say that about many others we have used previously.

Customer service is non existent. Sent letter to my son to inform him that the landlord wants the property back. They posted it via royal mail just before xmas 4th of Dec,( even though the property is a 2 min walk from their office) giving him 2 months notice!! He didn't actually receive the letter till Dec 22nd. Went to see them explaining that due to postal strikes and the fact that there is no sectioning of mail within the building he required more time. Not interested. Spoke to lawyer who told us they should have sent it recorded delivery or handed it to him.. They are now hounding him sending him texts to be out by 2nd of Feb even though the letter says the 5th.. Would never recommend this agency they have no compassion or people skills.

We been searching for a house for almost a year, we managed to view couple of houses and give them best offer but unfortunately someone always have a better offer than us. When we found this property just recently posted , we contacted Charles Dickens Estate Agent to inquire about the house. They answered us immediately they asked if we want to view the house, and we said yes. Fast forward, we liked the house so gave them our best offer. After 30 mins we received this wonderful news that they accepted our offer very quick. We are very pleased that the service they provided and giving much privilege to a first time buyer like us. Throughout the process of the mortgage, they have been very reliable, helpful, and considerate in any help and inquiries that we had. There's service is very outstanding and we never had any complain at all. We also like to complement Tom from Bridgwater branch for his outstanding communication. Thank you all very much. A great company to work, both from a buying and a letting perspective. Always courteous and as an independent estate agent, they go that extra mile to help you out. I'm not sure what's going on with the one-star reviews, but certainly John Smith sounds like a professional complainer who says some pretty vile things about people and clearly has a beef with estate agents. No doubt he was being abusive. I run my own business and deal with professional companies all the time and Charles Dickens exceprionally good. Highly recommended.
