Once I opened the door and entered the agent
There were tow ladies in their 50 s one of them was a bit overweight and other on with grey hair stared me like that I am a criminal or robber however I said good afternoon and politely asked if they have any 1,2 bedroom house or flat to rent
They replied no and started asking a silly questions , do you have money to pay the rent, where do you get your money , can you prove that your earning ,is your money in bank? Furthermore, to their racism and rudeness day before that I had an appointment to view one bedroom house in lime tree close,once they saw us me and my friend, they rang me and said I forgot the keys while they sat in the car and didn’t come out while they come to viewed me if you went to view the house I’m pretty sure you take the key with you this is not racism and rudeness what is it?

GoogleThe worst letting agent I've ever had, poor communication, tried to illegally raise the rent without notice, would always forget about booking gas/electric safety certificates, then put pressure on you to get it done the following day as they were out of date. I put in a complaint to be met with the reply, if you don't like it then move. Very unprofessional. Avoid this agent at all costs, the more people I talk too around town the more I realise I should have read the reviews and stayed well away.

We take all concerns regarding communication, compliance, and customer service very seriously. All notices are issued correctly and in accordance with current legislation, and all tradespeople instructed were provided with appropriate access and reasonable timeframes to attend the property. We strongly dispute the suggestion that we act outside of legal requirements.
While we always aim to communicate clearly and promptly, effective communication is a two-way process, and there were occasions where responses from your side were not forthcoming, which contributed to some of the difficulties experienced.
We were satisfied with todays outcome from the dps , although it is clear that you were not, which has led to this one-star review.

Googlemyself and my family lived in and it was actually full of damp mould rising damp etc ... Every time we had someone out they told us that it was a quote we needed the landlord to approve this. .. honestly worst ever property we have lived in Andrew Lee said and I quote " we will take this property off our books this is not the kind of property we want to put out name too "
Andrew is a joke lives a life of a fantasy .. cannot take him seriously and I shall be taking this as far as I can take it.. papers solicitors ombudsman of property you name it.

Andrew this is absolute lies you have given here just to cover your company. The truth in the matter is we had complained at the first moment of damp.. you have quoted our life style. . we actually did open windows when the weather aloud us to. You said oh you cannot place your furniture up against the wall. We didn't and what do you think a skirting board is for to give circulation. To say about the builder. Unfortunately we had a death in the family had explained to the builder and when we were able to have him out he actually made excuses. We have all Text messages emails and photo evidence which yes the ombudsman are already fully aware of. You quoted to us that this was the first time of taking this property on which yes is correct but you also stated you would not let the property out again . Which you have done so.
You also gave out to the landlord my work number for him to contact me on which you have breached privacy conditions which has also been noted.
Electrical problems were fixed plumbing was half fixed leaking radiators in bathrooms .. the drain cover in the down stairs bathroom never fixed .. the downstairs kitchen sink and taps never fixed .. the plumber even admitted that Andrew Lee's takes quotes but never gets the work done.. we were also told that council contractors were being used.. yes council contractors that usually only deal with council properties..
I'm sorry Andrew but this time I am not going to give up

We are sorry that you feel you have to write a negative review about Andrew Lees Lettings on google, but we are pleased to see you have removed the address.
We feel a detailed response is required to the points you raised and respond as follows:
Your landlord issued notice to all of you and offered to extend the tenancy date to give you plenty of time to find a new property more suitable, but you chose to leave a month earlier. The landlord did not pursue any monies from you, despite the condition of the Property at the end of the Tenancy.
During the tenancy and following inspections and reports of issues, we found it difficult to arrange maintenance appointments with yourself so that we could rectify issues. On several occasions contractors were cancelled by you and not re-booked.
During inspections we advised you the condensation in the property was due to lack of ventilation. The landlord has rented this property out previously for 4 years with another agent and there were no issues at the property regarding damp and condensation. It appears, unfortunately, it was lack of ventilation and the way in which you used the Property that caused the condensation, which ultimately caused damage to the walls and decoration.
We have been advised by the Landlord, the upstairs of the property is dry lined as part of the construction of the property and the staining on the walls therefore cannot have been caused by penetrating dampness. The landlord employed a decorating and damp proofing company to do a full redecoration with mould treatment. They also carried out stain blocking from historic salts in the upstairs ceiling.
We also previously advised you at the property that we would not be able to re-let the property until the remedial works that were required, and those that we had wanted to do during your tenancy were completed. The Landlord has borne the full costs of those redecoration works despite them being attributable to you.
We always value feedback and strive to give a better service to our clients. However, on this occasion we feel the condition of the Property was down to your lifestyle choice and failure to carry out our recommendations, not our service at Andrew Lees Lettings.
As you are fully aware we do have a complaints procedure on our website. If you wish to follow our complaints procedure to make a complaint, you should do so. and you will need to do so before any complaint is made to the Property Ombudsman.
Unfortunately, at the check out of the property, you did not provide your sign off letter with any notes or forwarding address information and this is the first that we have heard from you of any complaint about the Property or our service, following the end of tenancy in mid September 2019.
