I cannot recommend them enough, as we were not living in Maesteg they had to manage all the viewings etc. which they did brilliantly.
Communication was paramount for us, as there were 3 of us selling and not local, Mia set up a little What’s app group for us and kept in touch regularly.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anybody, small is good.

GoogleAlthough I have previously reviewed and given positive feedback, having used DMK services (I use the word service loosely) for over 18 months, I feel that I cannot recommend this company. I had reached the point of frustration where I had to ask that all communication be via email rather than phone calls due to the differing responses each time to the same issues. Maintenance was completed at the rental property, money requested upfront and taken from the rent, and no invoice or guarantee provided, despite asking for this 6 times, and now being ignored for coming up to 5 weeks. I have reported this company to the Property Redress Scheme and also Rent Smart Wales. I have attempted to resolve the issues directly each and every time, including escalating to a complaint, but I have been ignored and left in financial detriment because of this company's poor work ethic. We have looked into the points raised, and can see that the invoice for completed works was attached to the statement that was sent to you on 1st October (within a week of the work being completed), and we also resent it to you again on 1st November. We have double checked this and they are definitely attached. If you are unable to see them still, we recommend you contact your email services provider.
We have also double checked the financial detriment element of your concerns and note that all rent payments to you were processed within a reasonable time and in keeping with our Terms of Business. We can also see that you requested for us to continue processing rent payments for your property AFTER we had already advised you that we were no longer able to offer you our services, by providing you with one month notice to instruct an alternative agent. We feel that it is unreasonable (and illegal) to expect an agent to continue processing rent payments that is not the managing agent. I note that you also requested our team to complete maintenance on the property after the management had ended, which is also unreasonable to expect this.
We hope that the above clears up any concerns. We wish you and your tenants the very best of luck in the future.

GoogleBrilliant company so far. The whole process went far from smoothly for many different reasons but the team at DMK were always on the ball and fighting our corner every step of the sway. From arranging multiple viewings to coming to negotiating the deposit and tenancy agreement, they were fantastic from start to finish. The ability to WhatsApp the team any time we needed was a great help and allowed us better communication other than just email or phoning all the time. Every staff member was kind and friendly and helped us out with anything we required. The property itself is newly renovated and in pristine condition. Even after moving, there were a few things that the landlord needed to sort out but DMK’s maintenance team were fab at coming out and sorting those few things for us. Can’t speak highly enough of the team especially Mia, David, and Lynsey who helped us go through the whole process from first viewing to moving in in just one month.

My project had been ongoing for 15 months and we were left in a difficult and stressful situation, despite being told the property was soon to be completed for letting. Upon viewing the property, he evaluated it honestly and explained it was not safe for a variety of reasons, with videos and photographs as I was not in the country. David and his team were outstanding: David personally created a schedule of works, quotation within budget and he and his team were contactable at all times. The team completed this within his stated timelines, budget and delivered an impeccable service. We decided to sell the property, which was facilitated by DMK also.
