I was amongst the first to take two…

I was amongst the first to take two units at Cinch Self-Storage Shoreham when it was still under construction - Lauren and Jack have been absolutely fabulous with their friendly, efficient professionalism. It is a superb facility. Well built and very secure. Loading-in couldn’t be easier with plenty of easy to handle large and small trolleys. Well lit with toilet facilities. It took a while to find them after doing a thorough check of all the other storage facilities in the area. They came out the best, ticking all the boxes and I was not disappointed.

I had to use the storage company for…

I had to use the storage company for nine months while I was waiting to purchase a property. They were not only very convenient because they were very close to my work but also the good ratings and absolutely brilliant staff service. I highly recommend the storage company. Another reason I also went with them was because it is also very secure and I felt comfortable leaving my belongings there as some of them were very personal to me but I had nowhere for them to go. Go and speak to the staff today and get in contact with them if you wish to use their services are certainly recommend them highly

Rats in the storage unit.

Rats ate and defecated all over our belongings.We paid over £4500 for our items to be stored safely so we had them for our new home. A couple of weeks before our move we went to the storage unit to check over what was there. While going through the boxes we notice a horrible smell, then realized that the granules on top of our boxes were rodent droppings.When we discovered the issue we spent most of our Sunday day moving items to a new unit and going through checking for damage. We did have plans for the rest of the day, but had to cancel them so we could move our belongings. We did ask for a dustpan and brush so we could clear the rodent droppings off the tops of boxes (so we didn't have to touch it) but this never materialised. There was no assistance offered at this stage from Cinch besides the new, smaller, unit. We lost our fridge, our sofa, our armchair and a mattress. There were knaw marks on a 1940s dressing table my mother gave me. The rats had climbed inside our boxes and nested in my tea cups. We were then told to file a claim with insurance and it seems Cinch at that point considered the matter closed. When we requested assistance in chasing the insurance company, this wasn't given. They eventually got back to us due to my follow up with them. Something that took up a large amount of my time, while trying to organise our move and work full time. Frankly, it used time I did not have. We eventually received funds from the insurance company over six weeks after we originally noticed the damage. We have been without a fridge or sofa in our new home for approaching 3 weeks. Due to Cinch's negligence, we had nowhere cool to store our food when the temperature has been approaching 30°C. Cinch's response to this has been appalling. We weren't offered help going through or sorting out belongings. We weren't given any help in chasing the insurance company. The only thing Cinch has done is cover the delivery costs for the new items, but I had to call 4 times and email multiple times to get this response. I understand things happen, storing items in storage units will never be without risk. But Cinch's handling of this situation has been terrible, that is the reason for the single star. If Cinch had been proactive in helping us, chasing the insurance company, covering delivery, and showing they wanted to make right this situation, it would have been far less stressful and upsetting.

Great storage facility

Great storage facility, easy to use and very secure. I had no worries leaving my possessions there. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Jason who made me very welcome. Although a business, I felt at home there. I used the facilities for 13 months and found them to be always well kept and clean. Even in summer, the temperature was fairly cool, so it was no problem to access things. I would definitely recommend, and use them again if needed.

Friendly service at Cinch Chippenham

I came to Cinch Storage Chippenham during a personal house buying crisis where I needed the option of storage at short notice. Although I didn't end up requiring the storage in the end, I was very impressed with the service at the Chippenham branch when I went in to enquire. Andrew was very thorough showing us around, explaining the process, and sorting out the right size of unit for my needs. I was able to reserve a unit with a small refundable deposit which was promptly returned to me when I knew the storage was no longer needed.

My Cinch storage !

Cinch took the stress from moving house.The customer service from Ed was above and beyond. He explained everything and was so helpful. The storage facilities are amazing, clean, easy to use, and they have everything for your moving and packing needs. Huntingdon site, nothing but a 5 star so far ! From walking in to move in, has been an absolute pleasure, I wandered in on a Saturday to ask some questions, ended up being wowed by the services offered, Mail collection, drop off, lit and powered units and constant contact with the team and walked out with a 400 foot unit. The process was pain free and not paperwork heavy. I run a small business from my unit, and I have been introduced to others in the same building and been given nothing but a friendly service so far. A special shout out to Nav, who will move heaven and earth to make you happy ! Keep it up it’s really does make a difference !

Jaymee provides the best Customer Services - Geat asset to Cinch

Your Lady Jaymee was very friendly and very knowledgeable. She was very prompt on sending us quotes for various prices and very helpful in showing us around and advice on different size units. On the couple of occasions we have gone back to add things to the unit, she has come out and welcomed us, and just has a nice caring nature about her, which is what you need in times of advercity. It is so refreshing to actually speak to a person and have a person present.

Its a Cinch- Chippenham team are ace

I have just vacated my unit at Cinch Chippenham after a couple of years sorting my life out as a famous TV presenter would say…. I always rented storage in London when my homes there were too small, but I must go on record and say how impressed I have been with the Chippenham site. Way better than anything I have experienced before. Andrew and the team keep it spotlessly clean, and he is always friendly and helpful. I shall quite miss them and their excellent service.

I recently moved all my goods to Cinch WATFORD, after my 1st consultation. I have been using self storage facilities for over 3 years for business purposes. I have been with them for a few months and I am extremely happy with the facilities provided by the self storage unit. Fab storage, love the staff old and new!!! Recently made a clerical error on my own account and ended up defaulting on my months payment. When the young new lady pointed it out to me, I was shocked but she helped me amend it and was so kind with how she approached me, I would've expected it to be a huge issue but she made me feel so comfortable and even helped further with showing me how to put reminders on my phone, very empathetic, place is clean and it's never overly busy so great to be a member here

What can I say....

What can I say....The Southend branch of cinch are very polite, courteous, cater to all your needs and do not sell you what you don't need. Mark was very polite, catered to all my friends needs. We was offered a drink, which most companies don't. I highly recommend cinch Southend for any storage needs. My friends move from her house and storing things in her unit. Storage hunting!!! So stressful

We looked at a few storage places and gosh some were disgusting!!!! From our visit to Cinch and meeting Abbas it was a pleasure and a joy and put us at so much ease to know our stuff was going to be in safe hands Abbas was so lovely and patient and helped us so much in deciding what size to go with and even stayed passed his finish time to help us on both occasion the first visit and then finally going to sign the unit paperwork nothing was to much trouble for him and he’s an asset to the company I look forward to bumping in to him on our next visit with our boxes always happy and jovial which is a great thing to see he very clearly loves his Job and we look forward to Cinch looking after our belongings 😊😊

Andrew in the Chippenham branch was brilliant

Rented a storage locker in Chippenham as we were between homes waiting for our new house to be built. We ended up having to keep the locker longer than planned due to delays with the build. Prices were reasonable and Andrew and his team were fantastic from start to finish, incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. The whole process was so easy. The new Shoreham site is great and full of really helpful staff. They went above and beyond allowing me to come while it was still be finished as I was in need of storage unexpectedly. The facility is really accessible with lots of parking and easy access. Rates are more competitive than other local providers which sealed the deal. Worth checking them out if ever in need of storage.

From the first phone call to moving into the unit, Andrew and Paul in Cinch Chippenham were absolutely brilliant. Such amazing customer service (something that is severely lacking nowadays...) and nothing is ever too much for them. Felt like bespoke service from the get go and always looking to reassure and keep updated. I had an issue where my contents didn't fit into the planned unit, so Andrew calmly assessed all options and found me an extra room without charging me the world for it, always looking to help where he could, again, such amazing service.
