Total waste of time

Wasted my time this morning, booked a viewing for this morning, confirmed over email. Got a call from the agent this morning to confirm, but at a different time 30 mins earlier, which was fine. I then got a call 5 mins before to inform me he was running late, an inconvenience but not a deal breaker. I then went to the property knocked on the door and the occupier told me he was not informed of the viewing and the agent has not showed up.

Been dealing with Abbie Lomo-Dash for some serious issues we have had in our apartment and she has been super attentive and on top of things since the get go. Always responds to emails on time, friendly, understanding and efficient. She has been liaising with landlord back and forth so seamlessly. Exactly what a tenant needs when an agent is handling an apartment. Couldn’t be happier that we have Abbie to deal with and look forward to dealing with her in the near future. (Hopefully not for anything negative). You’re lucky if you have her handling your apartments! So thank you again! :)

Overall a good service

This review is for the Ruislip branch, where we were helped by Matt and Elaine in the sale of our property. Initially our experience was a little shaky. Gibbs were excellent at organising everything very quickly - we signed the contract at the beginning of the week and before the week had ended our home was listed with some beautiful photos. We were looking to sell during the height of the stamp duty holiday and our property was very overvalued, which probably hurt us a little in the beginning and caused us to miss a few opportunities. However, once the price was corrected we got some good offers in and felt well supported and informed at all times. We appreciated the consistent and regular updates. Elaine in particular was a great support during this time - especially when we were in the final stages of trying to complete and I will always be very grateful for her sympathetic ear. A little bit of kindness and understanding can mean the world to anxious sellers/ buyers. Many thanks for all your help in seeing our sale through to the end.

I have sold my property and GG were the selling agent, the whole sale process was so stressful due to delay from solicitor and one after another hiccups and it took almost 7 months to complete the sale. Aqib Hamid was dealing with my property, I must say he is man with lots of patience. If it was someone else, he/she would have gave on this sale long time back. She was able to keep in touch with myself and take me around the properties that I had selected and discussed to visit. The first year, especially early on in our tenancy, Thorgills were generally terrible. There were numerous mistakes, from getting our move in date wrong to basic questions not being answered for months. However after this the service became far better, due to dealing with different staff perhaps. For the past year, we have dealt primarily with Haffeeza Rasheed who we would like to single out as being incredible throughout. She has been extremely professional, friendly, helpful, efficient, easy to contact, and made everything much easier. We wish we could have had her as our main port of call from the beginning. The 5 stars is based on Haffeeza’s service. But as I mentioned, in general there has been a huge improvement from the beginning with Thorgills as a whole too.

I first made contact with Thorgills after responding to an advertisement placed on spareroom.com by their HMO services manger, Andre. Andre was very helpful and accommodating for the fact that I was moving from Manchester to London and was able to provide me with a video tour of the flat I was interested in which was very convenient and saved me a lot of time. After I had made an offer to Andre administration duties were transferred to Alice, who was again very accommodating of my need to work through the process remotely. Thorgills use the most up to date technology to ensure that payments are made securely and contracts can be signed securely by remotely operating parties which I found to be very reassuring. I have rented numerous properties from private landlords over the last 15 years at locations all over the country and the standard of professionalism and service provided by this agency really raises the bar beyond previous expectations.
