The tenancy at my son’s property was ending and he asked if I would contact his estate agent to advertise for another tenant as he was too busy with work. I also asked Dexters in Brentford to advertise and was told by Astle that they could get a higher price per month and their management fee was slightly lower. When the advert went live Dexters rang the same day saying they had an offer at full asking price. Unfortunately this fell through but they got another offer at full asking price straight away which was accepted. Astle and his team dealt with the whole process quickly and efficiently making it very stress free. His colleagues Charlie and Ellie were also involved and it was a pleasure to work with them. I cannot recommend Dexters highly enough and am so glad that I made the decision to appoint them.

I had a very poor experience with Dexter Brentford regarding deductions. The Branch attempted to assert that they alone decided what could be deducted from my deposit, which is incorrect under TDS rules. When I disputed unjustified charges and asked for evidence, I was met with pressure and repeated request to resolve matters outside the formal dispute process. I escalated the matter to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme. the adjudicator rejected the door/lock deduction in full and clarified that neither the agent nor landlord can decide deductions without the tenant agreement or evidence. Tenants should be cautious, insist on everything in writing and not be pressured into accepting unsupported claims.

I want to highlights some things the brokers works there most of them are very helpful. Unfortunately I had so bad experience with the Mr. Arek I was renting a room with two others I was in contact after a year the other tenant I was living start to be rude on me and to care different we had argument and said to take your stuff and leave for the house this happened during December . The agency didn’t protect at cost I left the house I was send emails and I was calling them for help ! So I left as soon as possible! I want to mention still ask me to £50 cause I left early before my contract! I had such tremendous experience from agency the don’t listen ! And after that I realised the contract I had is not worth it! So bad definitely I didn’t recommend this agency. Maybe if had a different approach in my situation it will be better for both side no leave from the house when I was paying my bills and the house it clean !
