Benham and Reeves is well connected with corporate clients from Japan and UK. I successfully got a corporate tenant through its Japan desk. Letting agent, Kaiju Matsuda is so attentive and dedicated with his service. I am really pleased with the offer. The property management team in London as well as the Hong Kong team are excellent in delivery of efficient service. It’s a peace of mind for my flat handed over to Benham and Reeves for management.

The service was good until it came to the point of payment of my rental amount. I informed the office that I have permission from HMRC not to debit my rental 20% tax as a foreign citizen, because I am doing my self assessment for a long time , and no other agency removed my taxes from my rental amount. I was surprised to receive the funds less 20% taxes. I was told to contact HMRC myself and give them your agency reference number to claim my money back. I believe I should have been told what to do before payment was made, and I should have been given the agency reference in advance, not afterwards. I classify it as non care attitude, to be honest.

attempted to illegally evict us a couple years ago because they signed contracts with new tenants before we moved out shoutout to George who kept seething and making claims we would be trespassed from the property because he thought we didn't know basic tenancy law shoutout to Lily who kept sending us emails baiting for a departure date when they realised we never gave one your emails are forever immortalised edit: lmao read up on what a rolling contract is, we were legally in the right and you sent many threatening messages and phone calls to try and scare us out. you also sent an invalid eviction notice that you had to rectify, are you going to pretend that was a lie? shall I share the emails here? are you so proud you can't apologise. sorry we didn't go homeless for your convenience

I would recommend Benham & Reeves , we have used them for many years for renting our property in Highbury North London , they always give a first class service very proactive and honest advice. From day one when they started renting out our property I don't think we have ever had more than a couple of weeks of a void period if that. They carry out all the due diligence on the tenants and to date have all been professional people. I would like to make a special mention to Ivan Hrissimov who I have built up a good working relationship over the years.

Horrendous company

Horrendous company. Even worse lettings negotiators!! Especially Dele Lawal!! At what point does the boy not realise that prospective clients pay both the company’s and his financial remuneration. A really lax negotiator who seemingly has no interest in letting properties. No communication skills, no customer service skills and above all a lack of customer service! I would not recommend this company if they were the last lettings agent on the planet!!
