Hunters Northenden branch. Louis at Hunters could not have been more helpful. I was renting a retirement property for my father who was moving areas to be nearer us. Louis was very understanding of our needs and our urgency and we had everything sorted within 3 weeks. He was very efficient and answered emails very promptly. We couldn't have had a better experience.

GoogleNeron Vivian from Hunters Preston Road branch Booked us for viewing at 1pm on Saturday 11/5/24 for Ravenscroft Wembley London. Sent us the email confirmation a day before. We have been in contact via ph twice prior and confirms viewing verbally. We live in northampton and Reached there at 12:58pm for viewing but agent failed to attend. Didn’t bother contacting us via phone or email. We tried calling them. No one pickup at agency and their voicemail was full to receive any voice msg. We went to their Preston Road branch at 1:50pm on the same day to chase up but no one was in. Google timing for Saturday are 9:30am-4:30pm What a waste of time. Ruined our day. We could have enjoyed the weather by doing something fun with kids Poor service. cudnt leave a 0 star.

GoogleOur estate agent was Sam Rasul, he accommodated to all our needs and was open for discussion at any time. Friendly and genuinely a nice bloke. Lots of experience and knows what he's talking about. I'm about to move into a property he has arranged and it has been smooth sailing thus far. I hate viewing properties but Sam has made it an enjoyable experience. Cheers mate.

I have had experience with Hunters in the past on multiple occasions. I am disappointed everytime from their lack of felixibility. For example if you're trying to rent and your annual income matches but does not excees what is expected by Hunters then they will abruptly cut you off. Also horrible customer service by the staff and do not know what they are doing. On a flat i called twice one staff member told me i had to satisfy an income of 29.000 pounds and another staff member told me i had to exceed 30.000 wich makes me doubt their honesty. I have had much better experiences with other agencies. Do not reccomend.

GoogleThey have no idea what they are doing, left my leased flat to go into ruins. No help, no communication, no idea how they source tenants for rentals. Something is definitely not right.

He knew exactly what wanted, and within a week, found me the perfect tenant

Hunters have rented out my property to several tenants and not to the ones on the contract. Hunters pulled out the deposit from the deposit scheme without my permission so that they would not have to give notice to the tenants. They have stopped responding to my emails for many months. Hunters are refusing to allow me access to my property and are ignoring my questions about when I may have my property back.When the Hunters’ head office was contacted they did not even bother to respond to my email message and when I rang them again, they told me to take up the case with the Ombudsman!

They only refunded back by holding deposit after seeing a video that I uploading on Facebook with so many negative comments from the viewers. HARI PATEL who apparently is the director of the Harrow Branch is very rude and disrespectful to his clients.

I phoned up to collect parcel from one of there property’s in which I was met you a extremely rude man who laughed and joked that they may be prestents for my children before rudely hanging up the phone and refusing to help! I called back on which he hung up straight away! His name is Harry! AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SPOKEN TO LIKE A DOG! (I wouldn’t even speak to a dog like that) absolute unprofessionalism.
We cannot find you on our database anywhere. This is a false allegation and this has been reported to google. Please note we are not allowed to open peoples mail as this is an offence!

GoogleHunters at preston road is very reliable in terms of the way they treat there customers. Didn't rent out a property with them as I decided to wait a while because of personal reason to find something better. But a person called vinny i believe was dealing with me and he was professional as well as relatable. Felt he was my friend trying actually trying to help. Not like other estate agents like haarts. Definitely will be talking to him in the future about renting out a property

GoogleHunters were exceptional at finding me a property. They took understanding in terms of what i was looking for to rent for myself and family. I can't thank and Sam, Neron and Vinnay for their patience and assuring me that the transition of moving in will be so easy. I'm grateful for Hari Patel for trusting me in the process and being so kind. This is needed when you are looking to find a house as i have never done this before. My boyfriend and I were purchasing a property through Hunters and they were pleasant enough. However, when we received the results of the independent survey two months down the line, it highlighted what we considered to be significant problems with the property, particularly the necessity of a whole new roof, and the replacement of brickwork.Naturally, we had not - and could not have - factored in the cost of these repairs, or the time it would take to carry them out, so we emailed our contact at Hunters in Sunderland, simply outlining the issues that the survey had presented, and attaching the report in full. The reply we received explained ‘The seller is not under any obligation to carry out any work or offer a reduction’. While true, this attitude seemed hostile to us, and rather unprofessional. We did not mention a negotiation of price, or the current owners carrying out the work themselves - although, to be frank, these did not seem unreasonable expectations.We had misgivings about how considerable an undertaking the repairs would be, both financially and physically, but were open to discussing options with Hunters/the sellers. However, we decided to withdraw from the sale, and Hunters’ attitude did play a big part in that. As a prospective buyer, you do not have a choice over which estate agent to deal with, but I would certainly be reticent about purchasing a property sold by Hunters in the future, and would strongly advise sellers to consider the overwhelmingly negative reviews on this page before engaging Hunters, as the wrong estate agent could scupper a sale, as in this case.

We drove over 250 miles to view a house listed for let @ £900. We said we like it and were happy to proceed, after all similar properties down south cost £1000 a month….We were absolutely shocked when they got back to us, offering us the house for £1000 because they knew we could afford it… we were aghast! I have never ever encountered such skullduggery and dishonesty…. Of course we declined… how can one deal with such a dishonest estate agent as these!

Very helpful, kind and considerate.We have just moved into our new home after lots of ups and downs which started with the Covid lockdown. Without going into detail we had a lot of problems with our respective buyers and sellers. Hunters at Pocklington were so supportive, patient and understanding and were with us at every step. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Hunters Horncastle:If you are looking for an EA who keeps you updated and informed then I would NOT use Hunters, if you want the privilege of paying for doing your own work then by all means use this EA, also if you want to feel as though the EA is acting on behalf of the buyer instead of the seller… this is the one for you!!! They say the right things to get the initial business and then offer bad advise and never any follow up or conversations about the state of the market during contract period, even when requested. Also emails and WA messages were ignored. Worst Estate Agent I’ve ever used. It seems that Katherine (who did the viewings) and Susan (admin) seem to hold them just above water and do all the donkey work. Just my honest opinion!! Would have given zero rating if possible

I was buying a house through hunters, wasn’t the best experience in the world. When it came to getting the keys from the bishop Auckland office, I was told to wait outside in the cold for 15 minutes, then presented with 1 key by itself, there was no congrats on your first home or any welcome gifts or anything, just here’s your key, see you later 👍🏼😂 got into the house, it wasn’t clean, the kitchen had been flooded which warped all the kitchen floor which I then had to pay to get it sorted. They should have done a check once the owners were out the house in order to make sure it was in a fit state and as seen on the viewings. I’ve since rented out houses around that area and stayed well clear of hunters, I would never use them again after the experience I had with them.

GoogleAbsolutely shocking customer service and terrible manners. Be careful of this agency, and in particular the very unprofessional Hari Patel, as they are not truthful, very greedy and disgustingly unprofessional and do not even carry their work in line with legal framework! They took our deposit and when we moved home, they did not give us our deposit back and are refusing to give us any information as to WHY, or WHERE our deposit is. They did not register it with a deposit scheme which is ILLEGAL and are refusing to deal with me. I regret ever working with Hunters Estate Agency and definitely advise anyone reading this: DO NOT GO NEAR THEM. They are unprofessional, rude and have absolutey terrible customer service and are very very frustrating to deal with. If I could give 0 stars on this, then trust me I would, but unfortunately I can't.
