We have recently successfully completed the purchase of our new property and would like to thank Abbotts for the professional manner in which the transaction was handled. There were several complications along the way but these were successfully overcome on our behalf by the agents and Diane in particular. Abbotts were professionally direct in the early stages of the transaction but all parties mellowed as exchange and completion became a reality. As previously mentioned a difficult sale was successfully achieved and we thank Abbotts of Watton for making this possible.

Abbotts estate agents in Watton made the whole process of the sale a lot easier than I had expected, as I live 170 miles away they had to deal with all the enquiries etc regarding the sale. They are very professional in what they do and they kept me up to date with each stage of the sales process as well as helping to deal with several issues that occurred during the sales process. We brought a bungalow from a seller using Abbott’s at the beginning of the year. Tim @ Kings Lynn branch truly went above & beyond for us. He attended extra viewings, even on his Saturday day offs. He kept us updated as to progress. But above all else he was in constant contact with the seller & their solicitor, pushing them along to get the sale through in the timeframe we needed. He made endless phone calls, got involved in paperwork where he had no obligation to & was always on the end of the phone when we needed him. Would recommend Tim to anyone. I think he was as excited as we were the day we got the keys!!! Thank you

Unfortunately we had a very poor experience with a particular member of staff at the Watton office of Abbotts. From the very start DP was just shockingly rude, patronising and extremely unprofessional. DP made my completion day one I’ll never forget - for all of the wrong reasons. Swearing infront of my young son, rude and horrendously condescending to my removal men. I passed my experience onto countrywide who apologised on her behalf but it was the lies she had written in her statement that was the straw that broke the camels back. Please if you do use Abbotts to buy or sell a property avoid having contact with DP.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. They prioritised sending the right person round rather than the number of people they sent round. Then, after we sold they were very helpful in the conveyancing process. They have a specific department for that who was able to explain things when I was unsure and to liaise with solicitors and the other agents. When problems arose they were key in resolving it and finding the right solution. While we worked mainly with Joanna from Thorpe Bay we also had a lot of help from Amy on the after sale. They have also continued to support us after the sale.

We dealt mostly with Lynn and she was brilliant at chasing for updates when it appeared solicitors were being slow. Lynn was away when we exchanged and completed but the rest of the team knew where we were up to and continued seamlessly (and I think we spoke to them all at some point). The whole team are brilliant at calling back when they say they will, even if its just to let you know that they are waiting for updates.

Knock, knock. Who's There? ...No-one!

I can't truly rate the service because I've had none! I've tried for over a week to get some information on a property listed in their Stowemarket branch. I've left messages, I've emailed, I've used the chatbox, the contact form and made 4 phone calls, which no one answered or responds to the recorded messages I've left. I phoned a bigger branch who told me they would contact the branch and get them to call me....nothing. Not a peep. I started this a week ago, because I'm in Suffolk at the weekend and wanted to arrange a viewing. I've had to give up and make other plans. There is clearly something wrong with their communications dept. If they have one!?!

The staff at Abbotts, Watton were always friendly, helpful and positive throughout, what turned out to be, quite a protracted sales period. There were occasions when communication seemed to dry up for a while but in the main any requests were responded to promptly with someone always at the end of the telephone.
