I wish there was a 0 a big -0 connells was instructed to sell my house but had 2 buyers fall through 1 3month in then 1 few weeks in so i sold it with greens who was verry good fist buyer actualy purchased the house in 2021 but due to him booking with connells as well even thou he cancelled with connells streight away as they didnt have anyone to show him the house i have recived a email of there solicitors takeing me to court for there fee of 2400 as my buyer showed a intreast with them discusting green and co cannot belive it ever nealy 1 year later

If I could give below a 1 start I would. A corrupt company that did not follow due diligence and the tenants they founds for our property turning into squatters and ruined our house. The company did nothing yet still charged a fee!! At the time we also rented a property and took us 11 weeks to get our deposit back. The house was spotless! We complained to the CEO who did nothing - didn’t even speak to us. A group of poorly trained teenagers running a company with no idea how to fix problems but great at writing invoices. Avoid at all costs

Yesterday I got a phone call from the lettings agent. He told me that he would email me over the details to a FaceTime call. I waited a further 20 hours and received nothing. Not a single word. Not a professional email giving me ongoing details. I was told after ringing them up that this morning someone put in a offer that the landlord accepted. But I was going to place a offer last night in the FaceTime viewing? Olivia the lettings manager took and aggressive tone. She’s very sarcastic and rude. She shouldn’t be working in a people based job as she is very arrogant. She interrupted me several times. I even had to ask her to stop interrupting me. I was there to make a complaint not to be spoken down to. Nobody in that office knows what another person is doing. They lack communication skills within their team and with customers. My mother had previously spoken to the lettings manager olivia before and the moment she spoke to them and mentioned her universal credits (me and another earn occupant £110,000 annually through self employment) They shut her down. So this is a secondary complaint as there’s obviously some large amounts of discrimination at play. We will be contacting trading standards regarding this and we will be pushing for them to issue a fine regarding the illegal discrimination this company is legislating. DO NOT USE

I have the best letting experience with connells so far(esp west bromwich branch). They made the process stress-free for me althrough my letting process. I've met different awful agents but connells gave me the best services. Their agents were really nice, supportive and helpful. I am definitely recommending connells to friends, colleagues and every other person looking for a good agent.

It is a shame not having zero star. The service is absolutely disgusting. To begin with they meant to start working in the office by 9am , yet no one picks up the phone until at least 9:30am.. that is if you lucky. They take your details to book you in for viewing yet forget to spell your name right, forget to call you and when you follow up they say it’s too late to show interest. They put a property on the market on the evening. Next morning 9am tried to contact them, however no one picked up. Therefore I went in 9.05am to the office where everyone chatting having meetings . One person took my details and reassured me that the property only gone online the evening and the viewing won’t start till following week and will be contacted. Little as I knew she never done anything with my details and when I called her a week later she told me it has been too much interest on the property and I can be on the waiting list. Disgusting….I am just ever so glad I haven’t gone with them after reading the reviews. Also glad it’s not just me they treated this way and just lied to my face.

Suppose there is a rating of zero stars. I would love to give zero stars or even minus stars. Kai in the Basingstoke branch is a useless sale. He didn't even do what a property seller representative did. He pushed his responsibility to others, giving out the wrong MOS the first time with the wrong solicitor information.

I am a landlord and As soon as I made the payment for the contract fee, they totally disappeared for any support regarding some mistakes correction updated. neither by email nor even on the telephone I didn’t manage To get in touch with them. In fact for about 2 weeks no answer, then the day before the beginning of the contract they promised they would have fixed by the following day. The day of the supposed beginning has passed and nothing happened.Terrible experience, terrible service and lots of stress because of them

Carried out a survey on my property undervalued it by 25000. Arrogant man showing off with trainee, attended my property. Devalued my home leaving the shortfall unaffordable for most buyers. Playing god with people's lives would recommend Mortgage providers stay clear.

Very poor for letting landlord properties. The management department failed to deal with issues to the property. Staff come and go and always a new person that needs to be brought up to speed. Landlords pay letting agents to help and in this instance I felt they were an unnecessary middle man making the problems worse and should have been paying me. Definitely poorer for using them.

Hinckley Branch. After numerous complaints to get my rent back from them, their inability to follow simple instructions and their charges never been the same from one month to the next I’ve now take my properties elsewhere. The last straw was me catching them in a lie, they continually were unavailable when chasing my money. I then swapped to my daughters phone as was put through straight away. Lots of reputable alternatives in Hinckley I’d recommend using them.

This estate agent do not know what they are doing on a day-to-day basis, issuing keys to your house where you are still living there and not informing you that the surveyor was calling around.Staff seem very uninterested in working for the interests of the customer , been rude , not using you given name, telling you that they have been working very hard ( which is what they are supposed to do ) also placing the phone down on you. Made 4 complaints on this service, still unknown what is happening about these complaints , as with the rest of the service it’s on hold ! Would never use them again and if people are wise they will not use them.

Waste of time. Have previously used their letting business to support me to find a tenant back in 2010 - poor service and lack of contact.I have since decided to sell that same property and after a lovely initial conversation with the office in Wolverhampton, a valuation was promptly booked in - report sent and then that was it. Despite two messages left and three emails sent - they don’t have the courtesy to even reply to me. However I did receive an out of office which advised me that they would be back in the office in November 2021 (it is now May 2022).

Trying to purchase a property in Devon advertised by them and foolishly with hindsight accepted help from their “mortgage broker Rob.” Rob by name and Rob by nature! £698 down and no mortgage so went through our bank! … still not sure if we can buy the house! Financial Ombudsman awaits….

Scammers, paid a deposit on a property of £1k. Graham Levy the sales scammer from Connels has done nothing to help us get our deposit back. Aylesbury branch. Bunch of liars. There's a reason they are the worst branch in the company. Do not use them. Absolute shower of lies from day one. Property developer is oakmont and the property is the development in Sloane House. My advise is walk away from this. Absolute scum!

Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!It's the worst agency I've ever dealt with. It's been almost a month since we moved out of the house but they haven't refunded our deposit back!! They just held it unlawfully without any reason, having in mind that I asked for it many times, explained how it's important for me because I have a newborn and moved to the new city, but nothing has been resolved yet. They don't show any respect for others at all. After 3 weeks of desperate waiting, lots of emails, I've been told by Harrow's branch office manager that finally, I was supposed to get a deposit within 3-5 working days, however, after 1 week of waiting again, I got an Urgent email that I have an outstanding amount and have to pay rent instead! I called to accountant department and found out that nobody informed them that we finished the tenancy agreement and I still have to wait for at least another 5 days to get out deposit back. It's a disgrace that I have to face financial difficulties just because someone Forgot to inform other departments about this issue and not doing their job properly. I spoke with Harrow's brunch agents, the head office complaint department even the landlord call to them and was told that they will call me back regards this matter and give me an update but nobody even bothered to reach me out!!!Moreover, they are so unprofessional that they keep sending an *URGENT* emails to a person to pay rent who's no longer living in that property for 3 years. They managed to share wrong information with others which are totally GDPR violation!!!I hope that an official inspection will consider it very seriously. So all I can say is just be very careful with this agency because they leak wrong information to others, are very unprofessional, ignorant, and breaks rental agreement.
