Happy with the service and the attention to detail. I’ve been house hunting and have found most agents disorganised and a little all over the place but working with Dylan and Georgia has been a breeze and it gives confidence to take up accommodation with this team in charge. I also visited the office and was warmly welcomed by the team who are all professional and have a smile on every time, I look forward to working well with them as a tenant. We had a fantastic experience with Shelby, Senior Sales Progression Advisor at Chancellors. From the very beginning, she was always kind, professional and genuinely pleasant to speak to on the phone. No matter how stressful things became during the process, she remained calm, supportive and reassuring. Although Shelby was representing the seller, we never once felt like she was “just working for them.” She was fair, balanced and incredibly helpful throughout. She made us feel heard and supported at every stage. Whenever we needed updates, she was constantly chasing the seller and the seller’s solicitor. She was proactive, responsive and always willing to help with any query we had. She never made us feel like we were asking too much. Buying a house can be stressful, but Shelby truly made a difference to our experience. We are extremely grateful for her dedication and hard work. Thank you again, Shelby, you were amazing.

Disappointing experience. My husband and I were refused a viewing of their properties solely because I mentioned we are relocating from Dubai and our income is from there. This was despite us offering proof of income, a UK guarantor, and 6 months’ rent upfront, none of which were reviewed or considered, and despite there being 10+ properties available that matched our criteria in various locations. There was no individual assessment, no discussion, and no flexibility, just an automatic exclusion based on our origin and the origin of our income. The process felt dismissive and discriminatory.

Could not recommend Dylan Webb (Senior Lettings Negotiator) enough! In a rental market where you can be lucky to even get a response to enquiries, Dylan has been absolutely superb from the start of my search to moving in. WORST company to deal with as a tenant. I've never dealt with a company so horrible to work with. As a tenant, the property management is appalling. Complete lack of communication, and never answer questions completely. Happy to take your money but if any problems arise with the property or landlord they become incredibly difficult to work with. Clearly don't background check their landlords either. I would advise staying as far away from this company to let through as possible.

From a landlord perspective, absolutely terrible. They picked contractors to do work which went wrong (plumbing leaks damaging my property). I replaced a shower and then a year later they told me it needed replacing again (no pushback to the contractor on my behalf). After a tenancy they started showing people round and only weeks later and having been advised to lower the rent did I discover the property had been left in a terrible state (they should have advised my after the first viewing). They also advised a tenant to change the locks (without informing me!) so at the end of the tenancy when I returned arriving late I couldn't enter and had to sleep in the car.

I have settled into my new flat now and would like to recommend Chancellors. As a first time buyer, I found the guidance provided by Shelby Chandler-Wootton very helpful. When I couldn’t get a clear answer from the solicitors, I could always speak to someone at Chancellors. I also got regular phone calls from Shelby with updates and reassurances. She was always available to answer questions or would phone back promptly. This seemed like a far more organized and professional outfit than the solicitors, who needed chasing and were not quick to return calls or answer emails.
