Our sale was tricky but Jess helped guide us through this element too and was there at every step. Great team, very professional and knowledgeable without being stuffy. Wish all agents were like them.

FacebookBeing first time buyers we were starting from scratch and so glad we used Boughtons, always prompt replies, keeping us constantly updated from start to finish of the entire process. We completed 3 weeks after our offer was accepted and moved in only a week later! Very professional and friendly staff - thank you again for all your help.

Our house was up for sale one day after my initial phone call and sold within two weeks!! Their communication has been second to none and they have managed everyone’s expectations amazingly throughout the whole process. FacebookFound our whole experience with Boughtons to be particularly poor. Bought a house strongly based on the fact it was not in a chain- this was confirmed verbally and via email prior to instructing solicitors, as we had a newborn baby to consider when handing in notice on our rental. Around 8 weeks later we find out we are actually in a chain which presented all manner of problems, leading to us being without a home with our baby for several months and our exchange date being moved and delayed several times (thankfully our fantastic family helped out here with accommodation.) We felt like we were treated in a dishonest manner the entire time and lied to at various points. Felt patronised at multiple times as first time buyers and considered pulling out at various points solely due to lies told to us and the way we were treated. Finally in the house thank goodness but left with memories of a poor experience, would not recommend and feel very disappointed by the service received and several patronising and dishonest comments made to us throughout.

FacebookJess arrived early for the valuation armed with a lot of info and local sales prices and similar houses for sale, after a tour of the house and a few bits of info we had a valuation in had and all her details.5 days later house was sold after just 1 viewing - to a chain free buyer and we were too. Sale completed in just over 6 weeks - fantastic!!.Every week Jess phoned with a update on how things were going which goes along way - selling a house is stressful!Will not hesitate to recommend and would use again if I have property to sell in the area.
