Not happy - My son recently purchased a starter property sold by Boughtons - which had been on a long term rental. When opening the door, the property had been left in a terribly state - no-one had checked that it had been thoroughly cleaned. The oven was black and in such a state it was unusable, the walls in the hall were black from condensation, the lounge curtains were the same. Everywhere was covered in dust from top to bottom, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned with stains all over the tiles. Thoroughly disappointed by the way we have been treated after a long 4 months wait (Covid notice), when a simple professional clean of oven & one-bed house is all it needed! Kirsty was full of lies too - hope she enjoyed her holiday. She left no notes in our file for her boss to pick up the pieces, either!

We could have not wished for a better Estate Agent! Jess is absolutely amazing at her job and she is on on the ball literally 24/7! No request is too big or too small and she does whatever she can to make the whole process from start to finish go smoothly as possible. Our house was not even on the market and she had a viewing booked in all ready to go before the pictures were even made LIVE! We sold our house within 3 hours of it officially going to market! We were so shocked, especially as we sold our house during COVID. We expected delays but we were pleasantly surprised.We would like to thank Jess and her team for their amazing customer service and help throughout the whole process. We initially used a well known internet Estate Agent, and although we got an offer quite quickly the sale fell through and we wasted many weeks because they hadn’t carried out their ‘due diligence’ properly on the finances of the potential buyers. At this point we’d had enough and signed up with Boughton’s, everything happened so quickly and professionally, great photos, and customer service, and as we were literally signing on the dotted line Jess told us we had our first viewing booked in already, that first viewing became our buyer, and we moved into our new home 4 weeks ago with an extra £7k in our pocket all down to Boughton’s advice, what more can we say?!
