They must be a scam

They must be a scam. We signed on to them as property managers for our airbnb, then proceeded to not hear from them ever again. We promtly closed down the account with them and moved to a real property management company who are fantastic. We have then had very odd emails addressed to us with wrong names etc saying theyre trying to access the property. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY - PURE SCAM AND 0 SERVICE

Complete were terrific in helping us find a property. Agent Tracy Barnett contacted us almost immediately with a house that was almost perfect for what we wanted. Then she listened to the reasons it wasn't quite right and, on the second property she put forward, it perfectly fitted our criteria and we bought it. While we had to wait for a chain of buyers, everything eventually went through and Tracy was helpful the whole time. Thank you, Tracy!

We contacted Complete following a disappointing experience with another agent. We approached this with a fair amount of trepidation due to our experience but couldn't feel more different now.This isn't your typical story as we decided not to sell our property but here goes!I made contact to ask for a valuation on our property, this was responded to super quick and Bradley came out within, I think, 72 hours. I was also offered a totally free appointment with a financial advisor. Bradley was friendly, honest and ridiculously knowledgeable about the local area, local housing market and all sorts! He was also awesome with my rather fuss-loving rescue dog and genuinely interested in our reasons for wanting to move. This was followed by my appointment with Mercedes, really simple in terms of providing some details and being given some potential figures. I asked if we could do some projected figures too to get an idea of where we could be in 'x' amount of time. It felt as though nothing was too much. Following some lengthy discussions with my wife we decided that the right thing to do was to wait. Not go on the market yet, let our careers progress, salaries increase, and come back. I felt nervous telling the people at Complete, being used to pressurised, sales-like environments, but the reality couldn't be further from that! Bradley responded in a great way, agreeing with our reasoning for delaying and offering any advice, guidance and support that would be helpful in between now and entering the market. Thank you so much to everyone at Complete and I assure you, when the times right, we'll be back!

All of the communication we had with Complete at their Bovey Tracey office was superb, from the initial valuation and the couple of viewings that were arranged. They already had a couple in mind before the property was marketed and once they viewed, an offer was accepted. The whole process was straightforward and from acceptance to completion was 4months. This was certainly helped by the team chasing solicitors.

Appalling communication from Beth in your Newton Abbot office.Beth was not interested from the first interaction I had with her (and I only had two!)I initially thought this was as she had been given our details by the owners when we viewed the property prior to the agents being involved) and had potentially lost the opportunity to get her own tenant (and commission).The lack of communication over the course of a week proved that there was no interest in us as tenants now or even in future.Despite calling almost daily for a week in order to get an update on whether the owners of the property wished to proceed, I received nothing but radio silence.I left messages every day for 5 days asking for a return call only to get nothing back. This was even when she was ‘on lunch’ or ‘on the other line’.We were not given timelines from the off and were kept in the dark over whether the owners would continue due to my need of a guarantor as I am in a probationary period in a new job (having been made redundant from my role of 9 years) and having an IVA (in order to get rid of debt run up in my name while I was in an abusive relationship a few years ago).I was very open about the IVA in particular and offered additional evidence to prove that my bills are paid on time and always have been.It was not my debt, but run up in my name and I had been paying this off for almost 6 years.This is still quite a difficult conversation to have in situations like this when you are met with a cold and clinical response. Feeling as though you have to justify your situation is extremely uncomfortable, especially when my partner and I are professionals and working full time jobs as key workers.I also had to have this conversation again with another agent as Beth was not able to take my call when I confirmed I had a guarantor. This woman had much more understanding and empathy, so please pass my thanks on to her for that.I finally gave up bothering to make contact with Beth as there was no effort to get back to us and as I was told by the other agents that viewings were continuing into the weekend, so I assumed we weren’t being considered.I got a call on Monday from Beth to tell me what I had already assumed.I’m not sure if this is down to inexperience or it is how your agents usually conduct themselves, but from a service perspective this type of behaviour doesn’t bode well for you as a business.Regardless of whether or not we would have been tenants due to our circumstances, keeping us updated on good or bad news at the start would have helped me have more respect for your employee. I’m not an unreasonable person and I would have understood.Unfortunately she has failed miserably on this occasion.As a result of this experience I wouldn’t recommend this agency to anyone potentially looking to let, buy or sell a property.

We have just used Complete for finding a rental property. Elsie showed us round the property and answered all questions we had. We applied for the house and began referencing which only took a couple of days to complete. Elsie has been great, kept us up to date throughout the process, responding to calls and emails very quickly, and we now pick up our keys in January! Would definetly reccomend.
