"I would give John Stein of Taylor Made, of Southbourne Grove, full marks or 5/5 for his professional support when helping us move our tenants on. Unfortunately for the tenants, this was a no fault eviction, but with interest rates so high, my wife and I reluctantly decided to sell our property as quickly as possible. In fairness, the tenants hadn't looked after the property very well and there were serious issues with damp due to keeping windows closed during the winter and not turning the central heating on. This was revealed during a six-month routine inspection. These inspections are essential as otherwise problems would remain unknown about until serious damage is done. The flat now absolutely reeked of damp which was so bad even the curtain rails had turned rusty despite being less than a year old. With written and verbal guidance, and repeated visits from John and several very firm 'talking- to's later, the situation did improve to some extent. Unfortunately, the carpets were still very damp smelling even several months of continuous airing and if we had been reletting, we would have needed to replace them. The tenants were angry at being evicted, but John was very skilful at calming things down and they left just one month after being given notice. In fairness to the tenants, they redecorated the paintwork before they left which helped. A big thank you to John for dealing with this sensitive situation and his vast experience at all things to do with being a letting agent! Always highly professional and on time with everything. I would strongly recommend."

1 star is more than kind if i could i would of give 0 I’ve never expected to deal with so much unprofessional with a well known letting agents. John was beyond rude! i will never be dealing with taylor made again and they have lost some good business from me and my family now. i really wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. I will also be filing an official complaint to head office. such a shame

After saving for ages I’ve finally bought and I moved in this month. The whole mortgage thing was a new one on me and a bit of a minefield especially if you’ve never done it before it can be a bit confusing. I didn’t get much help from the broker but luckily I went into Taylor made when I was out looking for a flat and they helped me a lot. I probably would have given up if I hadn’t gone in and seen them but Jon helped me a lot with all of it and even helped me work out what I could afford and how much I needed to put away each month for the mortgage and other things. A happy customer. I began my journey with Taylor Made in 2011, purchasing a flat from them. In 2015 I relocated for work and had 7 years of help from them with regards to letting the property, with very few empty periods. Upon deciding to sell the flat this year John was extremely helpful, offering advice on what needed updating in the property to make it ready for sale. We had a buyer for the property within days of it being listed, at the full asking price. Highly recommended.
