Two attempts to buy a property in…

Buying and selling a property is always challenging. Meyers however provide a different experience. From the beginning when Henry took the details of our property, through Joe and Harry carrying out the viewings and Mark the director and owner metaphorically holding our hand and encouraging and supporting us when things went badly wrong with our purchase, Meyers were professional and personable.The amazing Pauline got us through the final stages, progress chasing, keeping us informed. Meyers are the best estate agents by far.

I thought you were brilliant

I thought you were brilliant, kept us more informed than our solicitor. Also you provided a far superior service than the estate agent we used in Cardiff for the sale of our flat. You provided an excellent service. We have bought and sold many properties in the past and the service you provided was far better than any estate agent we have used in the past. If or when my daughter decides to move in Weymouth your estate agent would be first on the list of estate agents to use. Thank you great service.

Meyers estate agents were so helpful to us when we were buying our first family home, I don’t think we could have done it without them! Claire dealt with all our queries quickly and efficiently and did what she could to help us move the purchase process along on when things got a bit stressful. We’ve now been living in our own home for just over a month and are so happy not having to rent after being treated badly by another local agent - I can’t thank her enough!!

Dave, Ollie, Chris, Nicole et all at Meyers are brilliant! They sold a difficult property for me after my mother passed away and I was needing help and went on to sell another property from my mother’s estate. Nothing was too much trouble, they took the stress away from the whole process and I cannot recommend them enough!!!! Dealing with essentially a “family concern” is worlds away from dealing with a national conglomerate (many of whom are actually owned by a larger company purely interested in numbers not individuals). I just wish they were in more areas as would use them for all property matters!

Carrie and James at Meyers were amazing. Very professional and really approachable too. They kept me in the loop and were quick to find out any additional information I needed regarding the purchase of my flat. I never felt like I was asking a silly question. It was James that informed me that I had completed on the purchase, a good 4-5 hours before my solicitor got in touch. Carrie called the nextcsay and a few days later to check I was happy and gave good advice on my next steps on people I needed to contact such as utilities etcI don't know how long I will be in my flat but I would definitely contact Meyers before anyone else if I were to look to move. Really great customer service and how an experience of estate agents should be 😁PS James, I may still be calling on you for that hole in the drive! 😉

From the first time we met Fraser, we were bought into his commitment to sell our apartment as if it were his own. We were not disappointed and we sold within 3 weeks at the top end of our expectations. Fraser ensured that all the difficult questions and barriers to ensuring the sale went through,were all ironed out as part of agreeing the offer. We were then handed over to Jamie as the sales progressor who was equally professional in dealing with things in a very timely way. What could have become a difficult and challenging sale due to it being leasehold property was in fact very smooth and relatively stress free. We went from putting the house on the market to moving house within 8 weeks, which is amazing. The communication throughout was honest, timely and responsive. Promised a quick sale, and lots of viewings, plus a busy open day, given a good reasonable price with promising results.No open day happened. 7 viewings in 12 weeks, stupid price offers of 35 to 40k below asking price.No telesales to prospective purchasers.Personal service offered by agent, only to have a trainee turn up with NO charisma, no enthusiasm, took me for a potential buyer.I commented on stuff i needed to do, like cut the grass, he just agreed and said, yes tge place needs some work, and the carpets are dull and boring.We had just carpeted the place throughout, at £30 per m2.And decorated throughout.This is the point i decided to go to a competitor.Within 5 days of going to a competitor, 12 viewings from the competitor and the full asking price was offered.I feel Meyers earnt commission for doing absolutely nothing apart from putting the property on market, and didnt market it with passion.

Good service from Meyers , helpful and polite at all times. My husband and I were re locating and found it difficult to view the property. The one time we asked if we could see the property together, which was short notice and appreciated everyone is busy we were told someone would get back to us. They didn't. It just would of been nice either way to let us know , as we were very flexible. Maybe give a little more time for buyers whom have already bought a property instead of concentrating all on getting a buyer for the properties.We did appreciate the after care when picking up the keys, a very nice touch.

Fantastic, Professional & Faultless Service

I have just completed a sale using Meyers. This is the second property that I have sold with them. As with my previous experience the whole process was professional smooth and well organised. The initial valuation was realistic (unlike some others I have experienced) and the sale price achieved was fantastic. We had bookings within a few days of going on the market and the property was sold in the first week. The fees were competitive and not overpriced and the communication between the office and all relevant parties was slick and faultless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again if it wasn't for the fact I'd moved away from the area.
