We’re glad to hear that living in the flat itself was generally positive during your tenancy of nearly two years, but we’re very sorry that aspects of the move-in and end of tenancy process did not meet the standard we aim to provide. It’s never our intention to make moving out stressful or feel unfair, we do our best to ensure that check-ins and check-outs are handled transparently and fairly for both tenants and landlords. Your Landlord prepared the flat for your move-in and they regret that the initial cleanliness of the property was not up to standard. We understand how frustrating that must have been, and it’s worth mentioning that, once this was raised, the landlord did arrange for additional cleaning to address the missed items. We appreciate your effort in highlighting these issues at the time. Regarding the deposit deductions, we always aim to follow a clear process in line with deposit protection guidelines and to resolve any disputes fairly. Your landlord proposed deductions which we passed on to you. We’re sorry that this caused frustration.
