Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience. Having carefully reviewed our records, including email correspondence and call logs, we would like to clarify the sequence of events. Following your viewing, you submitted an offer below the advertised asking rent. This offer was promptly presented to the landlord and was declined. You subsequently submitted a revised offer, which again was below the marketed rent, and this was also declined by the landlord. Our negotiator, clearly advised you that the landlord was not prepared to accept offers below the advertised rental figure. You were also informed in advance that she would be on annual leave from the Friday and returning to the office on the Monday. This was a standard short period of leave and did not account for a two week delay. During this time, further viewings continued at the property, as is normal practice when a property remains available. The landlord subsequently received an offer at the full asking rent, which was accepted. We fully appreciate that searching for a rental property can be time consuming and sometimes disappointing, particularly in a competitive market. However, we must respectfully refute the suggestion of unprofessional conduct. All offers were communicated to the landlord promptly, feedback was relayed to you as soon as it was received, and you were kept informed regarding the landlord’s position on price. We wish you every success in securing a suitable property and thank you again for taking the time to share your comments.
