TrustpilotExcellent Service
After using other Agents locally for many years, I have got to say the service I received from the team at Cheadle hulme was outstanding. From the minute I spoke to Jemma I knew I was experiencing a different level of service. I dealt with Louise who kept me update and informed through every viewing, just superb, snd not forgetting Liam who when I had any queries dealt with them immediately- Thankyou to the whole amazing team, you will now have my other houses to let. 5 ⭐️

I moved out over a month ago and still haven’t had a single update about the return of my deposit. Sadly, this is entirely in line with the level of service I’ve received from Bridgeford throughout more than five years of renting with them.

Never contact me after numerous call and direct messages.
As a landlord I find this appalling.
I have tried since may to contact them but to no avail.
I am thinking of leaving breaking my contract and go with court action if needed.

TrustpilotYou're a star Ellie
Just wanted to mention the first Class service received by Ellie in the Tynemouth office. She is more than helpful every time I speak to her. I am a Landlady and despite the extremely expensive charges Bridgefords have for every aspect of Letting, it is Ellie who is polite, extremely efficient, always pleasant and a delight to deal with. Service like this needs to be recognised ...Ellie should run the office as nothing is ever too much trouble. I was visiting recently from London and Ellie was off, sadly. Other staff were on the phone and didn't even acknowledge I was there! so rude considering the money I pay them. I am in the Property business myself, so know how people expect to be treated. Well done Ellie, you are an asset to Tynemouth!

GoogleI recently had the pleasure of working with Tracey to purchase a property, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, their team was professional, responsive, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process.
They guided me clearly through each stage of the auction, answered all my questions promptly, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and straightforward. Their knowledge of the market and attention to detail gave me great confidence in my purchase.
Thanks to their support, I was able to secure a fantastic property that met all my needs. I highly recommend Country and Town Auction to anyone looking to buy or invest, they truly go above and beyond!

TrustpilotLee Johnson from Countrywide…
We met Lee Johnson from Countrywide without any knowledge about house buying or what is needed to make it happen. He enabled us to create our credit profile as we had never had credit before and needed this to get a mortgage. He told us everything about getting the maximum we can afford from our salaries, making sure we had the best mortgage provider/rate and also ensuring that if anything bad was to happen, the house and our earnings would be covered and the house would be paid for! Lee I cannot thank you enough for enabling me and my wife go from renting to homeowners with peace of mind. Especially during a time of mortgage uncertainty (late 2022). Fantastic work! I highly recommend Lee to anyone who is either new to buying/selling or is seeking advice on what to do! THANK YOU! You have made our journey effortless.

TrustpilotI had an appointment booked for today…
I had an appointment booked for today at 2.p.m with the view to put my house on the market so I would be in a position to make an offer on a viewing tomorrow. I received a call around 1.30 to inform me that the agent is running 30 minutes late, making the expected visit for 2.30. 3.15 came. I rang the agents to be told she's not attending. To rub salt in the wounds furthermore I was told she couldn't come to me because of traffic and she would make the visit after me late. Viewing cancelled as I had wasted my day off waiting round for nothing.

TrustpilotContractors should avoid at all costs!
Contractors should avoid at all costs!! We fitted a cylinder in a property for this agent, and have received no payment, now three month overdue. They tried to pass us onto the landlord when we’ve worked direct with them. We’ve still heard nothing, despite numerous calls, emails, complaints. We will be forced to get a debt recovery involved. Would not recommend working for them!

TrustpilotSTAY AWAY!!!! SCAMMERS!!!!
Why I need to give them one rate star. They don't deserve even for 0.Scammers and unprofessionalls.September 1st I should have moved to a rented flat in Manchester. On the pics and you tube short movie sent by this agency( which are old to attract attention !!!) everything looks very nice.In the reality completely different. Place is not in a good condition to live in, not even in a basic. It's not health and safety. Flat had not been cleaned after previous tenant or even tenants(if someone really lived before). Inspection had not been done before my moving date. Mould is everywhere in the flat, walls are dirty (black),gas cooker is damaged, knobs pop out and using of it may cause fire and even explosion, there is no possibility to open windows, in case of a gas leaking or dense smoke there's no chance to make flow of air, in case of a fire the only one way to escape is through main door only, smell of this flat is disgusting, grouty mould in the bathroom. Old, dirty mattress with stains. Old shaking wardrobe that may collapse and cause injury. A devastated piece of furniture inside the room. Living there may cause serious health and safety problems.Flat should have been prepared before moving. But no one did anything.Letting agent/Landlord was not in the flat during moving in. Key collection in the branch. Flat looks like an abandoned place!!!!Straight away I gave termination to the landlord due to negligence.I asked for a full refund but they are not (letting agency/ landlord)willingness to do this.I recorded video and took some pictures (if someone would like to see, pls contact me)One week after my moving date agency sent cleaners (8th September)cleaners to that flat. Next day I came there to take a look at a result. Cleaners done - bathtube, toilet. In the kitchen - worktops, cupboards and top of the gas cooker.Knobs from the gas cooker poped out as previously.Walls not even touched. Mould still there. Rest as I mentioned above.I returned keys to the letting agency.Next week (Monday 12Sep) I received an email from letting agency that landlord agreed to release me from the contract but wants to keep my deposit which I think in these matter is absolutely not fair.I'm feeling scammed depressed, broken down and humiliated. If you will find good place in a very attractive price and want to arrange viewings then agency usually will never give you any response or send response that flat/house is not available anymore. If you call them and say you're interested and ready to pay then you attract attention.Agency and landlord earned money and have you deep in their ......!!!!Shame I can't puy in here pics and movie.I lost £1290. Luckily I could come back to my former place. Otherwise I would be homeless or had to move into that ruin place.STAY AWAY and RUN AWAY!!!!! Not worth your health. Do not waste your time.Branch in Chorlton, Manchester

GoogleIt was such a pleasure working with Chris at Town & Country Property auctions. He was excellent at communication, keeping us informed and kind.
We were new to auction properties and he guided us through the process to find a gorgeous house that we can renovate and turn into our dream home.
It ended up all moving very quickly between successful bid and completion, all within a month.
Highly recommend the company, thank you for everything, we appreciate it.
All the best, Alex and Lindsey

TrustpilotThey rented me a house at 26 Jefferson…
They rented me a house at 26 Jefferson Walk ST16 1WF and I listened to construction noises for 1 year and they forced me to sign an additional contract for 1 year even though I told them before. They tried to rent me this house above market prices. When I left, they had no other choice so they rented it to others at a lower price. They are not honest and try to rip people off. Also, do not trust the zero deposit system, they work together and try to get money from you

Tried to book a viewing of a property that had been on the market for almost a year. Had to call twice before I got a response. They couldn’t offer anything sooner than a week after my call. No wonder the house hadn’t sold.

GoogleFirst time buying a property via an auction, the experience from start to finish has been really good and positive, this also includes communication back with Town & Country.
Purchase was via the online auction and experience leading up to the auction and on the day was really easy.
After the auction I have reached out to Town & Country for assistance with the purchase, and Tracey has been brilliant, always happy to help and helping to move the purchase along.

GoogleWe have just sold our beloved family home of 64 years through Town and Country. Having been the sole owners of this property, as the next generation, it is truly one of the saddest decisions we have had to make. But Mathew and Tracey were supportive and professional from the start. A great team! Mathew clearly has a very in depth understanding of the market and his judgement and decision making were outstanding. We entrusted this to them and they did their very best for us. We would like to publicly thank and recommend them.

GoogleAsked to view a property which is shortly coming up for auction. The lady on the phone asked my circumstances which I explained: cash buyer, nothing to sell, but she wanted to know my personal finances and what my budget was. This is private and none of your business. The property coming up for auction is well below my budget, so you’ll have to take my word for it. I am not happy to share my personal financial information with someone I do not know.

GoogleMy experience with Matthew and his team has been nothing but positive and I would highly recommend them. I had been a bit wary of selling at auction, but after 2 previous sales with estate agents had fallen through, with associated costs, I decided it would be worth trying. Matthew was professional, helpful and realistic. Nick kept me informed with viewings and Tracey was always there to answer my (many!) queries in a helpful, friendly and efficient manner. It was such a simple and speedy process. Highly recommended.

GoogleI put my deceased relatives house up for auction with Town and Country as soon as lockdown permitted. We needed to sell his home as quickly as possible, and to put it up for auction seemed the best possible solution. The company were professional from the very first contact. They clearly explained terms and conditions, what we could expect, and how they would market the property. As I live some distance away, they valued the property, and we agreed on a reserve. There was interest so we hoped it would sell pre auction, and that is what happened, at an agreed price that we felt was fair, for a quick sale.
They were efficient, kept me fully informed and gave advice when I asked. They always returned calls, and kept me informed of progress via email.
I did not , in any way, get a hard sell, or over optimistic valuation, I felt they were fair from beginning to end. I had contact with two people, who were both helpful and professional.
Whilst the house was empty, they undertook weekly visits to the property, making sure it was always secure. To be absolutely honest, I cannot fault their service, and the end result was a sale, at a fair market price.
My experience of Town and Country was a good one, I was very happy with the professional service I received, from beginning to end.
