had a viewing booked, no-one turned up. when i queried; agent stated was gone. They had left 2 messages to cancel, on a phone that doesn't have a messaging system. When i raised a complaint to head office, management just doubled down on this lie. They simply cannot be trusted.

Hastings branch what a joke I was phoned out of the blue offering a free valuation which I accepted then the problems started. I was offered a slot on Saturday 3rd April 11:00 with the valuer only to receive two text messages at the same time with an appointment of 10:45 and 11:30 after ringing there office the 11:00 was confirmed as correct only to receive a call a little while later to change the time to 12:00 so I said I will cancel the whole sorry affair only to get another text confirming my 12:00 appointment with a different valuer. How hard can it be to get something so simple right.

I had a good experience buying a flat represented by Fox & Sons in Hastings. All the staff, especially Alex, Dan and Charles, were very reactive when I had queries per email or the phone and were very helpful in making sure tradespeople had access to the flat throughout the process when checks had to be done. They made the transition very easy.

We had Luke from Fox and sons in Hastings round to value our property and at the time he was very nice and knowledgeable. We had in total three agents round who all valued the property about the same. After this we had some conversations with all agents and decided not to go with Fox and sons as after speaking with people knew they advanced us of their very unpleasant experience with them.we Emailed Luke at Fox and Sons to say thank you for your time but we have decided to go another route , below is a copy of the response we got back from him.Notice all the exclamation marks and how he tries to make us feel guilty about going elsewhere !“ Good Morning, What’s the reason for going with another route? I have worked so hard to have given you the best fee anyone has ever had from a fox and sons even better than what my own sister was able to get!! To do this I had to have a long meeting about it with my area manager to get approved! We have the biggest reach in the town due to our offices across the UK and have the best client care set up in the town. I know you had two other agents out one is yet to sell a house over £375,000 this year so I wouldn’t go with them!!I keep getting clients of the other agent you had who claim to be the best in the town, calling me up to take the property on as they haven’t heard from them and been made to do viewings themselves!! They claim they are too busy this is due to them having to many properties to manage this can be seen as they are known for having the highest fall through rate as well. The route you have decide to take I hope works well for you but if you need my services in future once being on with another agent I won’t be able to get the fee lowered again. This is a shame as you had mentioned you would use us if we could do £6,500 including vat and I actually managed to get it to £6,000 including vat. They were the worse letting agency that I have worked with, they don't report things from tenant to landlord and vice versa, they are just on the landlord side and not as a in between person to mediate, they don't do their work properly, are very unprofessional, avoid at all costs to work with this people, there are loads of letting agents to work with(Reviewed) One day after I posted this review, Fox & Sons decided to leave a review on google as I'm a tradesman and guess what, they rated me 1 star without having any contact with me in my area, just so you can see how unscrupulous and vengeful this people are, avoid! avoid! avoid! still haven't received my deposit after almost 2 months I left the house I rented through them

I made the mistake of going with Fox and Sons in May, and they turned out to be terrible. I dumped them and went with another estate agent. That would have been the end of it, and I wouldn't have left a bad review but... I specifically asked for them to remove my details from their system, and not receive any marketing. Low and behold, I started receiving marketing calls today. So, here's my review of them; Terrible photos, and I had to take my own high def' ones in the end, and even those, they managed to pixelate and screw up when they put them on the web. Even though I showed them round, they kept sending agents to viewings who hadn't been here before, and had no idea where anything was (a large sprawling property). They push all their own financial services and conveyancers, who are rubbish, and have numerous bad reviews on the internet. I had no idea who was in charge, or who I was dealing with from week to week, and they lied about their database of potential buyers. In any case, if I receive any more marketing calls from them I am reporting them to the police for harassment. Don't use them.

I made the mistake of calling to view a house with fox and sons. I then decided not to go ahead and have not stopped receiving calls or emails since. I have repeatedly asked to be taken off their contact lists and for them to delete my data from their records but to no avail

My property is for sale with another estate agent. Fox and Sons have my details as they were one of the agents I invited to make a valuation. I didn't mind them phoning a few months later asking if I would reconsider and use them. I politely declined and told them I would contact them if interested and under GDPR regulations remove my data from their records. They promised to do this but have phoned again. Is this a GDPR data breach? Probably..Will I use them after this latest call? No. Will I be rude and make a complaint about a data breach if they call again? Certainly. Pushy

GoogleWilliam Shouler if he is still working there should ensure he ensures he knows what he is doing when selling a deceased estate. Does he CARE about finding out whether there is more than one executor. Undermining another agent, one with a five star rating, does him no credit either. I would have been happy to rescind this one star rating for Fox & Sons if I could get a response out of William concerning my concerns but I never did.

Appalling service. I had an offer accepted on an apartment in early August and as of Sept 10 had still not heard from them. Phone calls and emails go unanswered. when I finally got one of them on the phone his reaction was the immortal words - well if you need to pull out then do that. If you are a buyer avoid them like the plague

Avoid at All Costs, Toxic Work Environment and Unethical PracticesToby Jones the "manager" is creating huge conflict of interest, although he is married, he is having an affair with Danielle Lakin, one of the mortgage brokers. This is the least of fox and sons worries but shows the type of person they have in their midst. Avoid all. Worst company in Hastings. Scum!

Applied for an MIP with local firm thinking would get a more personal service. Tried back in early July and no response for a few days so decided service was not great! Wanted a responsive service. Then decided would have another go and sent salary slips as requested to the broker 19th July. No response at all to date! Now going to go to an online national service.
