I’ve had an excellent experience with Pygott & Crone Boston. Every contact and interaction was consistently good from start to finish. Davis, the branch manager, came out for the initial marketing visit and gave us confidence straight away …and importantly, they helped us sell where others had previously failed. A special thank you to Holly on sales and Sam in the legal follow‑through team, who kept us informed throughout the process. And when someone wasn’t available, Joe, the sales manager, always stepped in and made sure nothing slipped. A genuinely professional, supportive team. Highly recommended.

We decided to dip our toe in the market and see if we could sell to upsize, Davis and his team got us sold in 10 days and we have just exchanged so will have sold and moved in around 10 weeks, I cannot thank the Pygott team enough, we used Pygotts own conveyancing team, for buying and selling, they were fantastic throughout, always kept us up to date, it was so easy to upload documents they needed. We have recently used Pygott & Crone for a property sale which has now completed, and I have been very impressed with their level of professionalism throughout. Davis, Joe, Sam and Holly really are a dream team to work with. Nothing is too much trouble for this great group of people. Their communication is excellent, and they simply get the job done. Even in this challenging market, they secured a sale for our property within a couple of weeks. Just as important as their professionalism is the sense of camaraderie they build with their clients, which makes the whole process far more comfortable. Amazing service from a great estate agent. I have bought and sold 4 properties with Pygott and Crone in Sleaford and Boston. The last house sale through the Boston branch was amazing. Davis Gurton met me within 24 hours of initial contact and on a weekend. The house valuation surprised me, I said I wanted a quick sale. To my amazement the house was sold in 24 hours, and for more than I had expected. Davis Gurton is a thorough professional and he knowledge and expertise on the housing market in Boston is first class. During the sale process I continued to deal with Davis and the supremely efficient and organised Sam Bettinson who proactively contacted me on a very regular basis keeping me posted on any developments or issues. On the market for 2 years, 8 viewings

On the market for 2 years, 8 viewings, little feedback or thoughts about what might be preventing more interest. We asked for new details, we suggested dropping the price, we drove all the thought on how to get things moving. Viewings were often at short notice, unqualified leads either not looking in the area or hadnt an interest in our property but had been convinced to view it. Rarely anyone available to do the viewings so we had to - not ideal. When someone was available, they knew nothing of the area, property etc. Useless. When we finally left them, all they were interested in was the £300 to cover the photo/energy costs. You'll be hard pushed to find an estate agent less interested in finding the right buyer, openly saying beyond putting it on the Internet, there's little influence they can have. They need to refresh their understanding of what sales is. They act more like a checkout assistant than an estate agent. Seller beware dont even bother.....

We were told that the case had been escalated to a senior case worker, but nothing changed and no improvements were made. Updates were minimal and often required chasing, which added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Very disappointing experience. As a cash buyer, I spent several days trying to arrange a viewing, only to be told that the only available slot was 4:30pm despite repeatedly explaining I could not attend at that time. After having to chase for responses, I was then informed that another offer had been received and no further viewings would be taking place. An offer is not a sale, and I find it difficult to believe that a vendor would be pleased to learn that a serious, proceedable buyer was never given the opportunity to view their property due to a lack of flexibility and poor communication. I appreciate estate agents are busy, but this experience left me with the impression that securing the best outcome for the vendor was secondary to diary management.
