GoogleI cannot speak highly enough of Monroe, and specifically Rowan. She was wonderful to work with. Monroe sold our family home in Boston Spa, giving us honest feedback from viewings which enabled us to make subtle changes along the way. Their photographs and videos of our house were unbelievable - which goes a long way in getting people through the door. Rowan also listened to our very specific criteria for our new home moving forwards and found us our dream property. Even helping us negotiate to secure the best possible price. Rowan made everything very easy to navigate and was always available and helpful throughout the purchasing and selling process. Updates from where we were on both sides, navigating the lengthy legal process and even after we were moved into our new home - checking we were ok and if we had any questions. The full Monroe team were professional, honest, diligent and we can’t thank you enough.

GoogleIt was an absolute pleasure working with Rowan and Monroe Estate Agents. All the way throughout the process there was great communication via text/email and weekly update calls so everyone in the chain was aware of each other’s situation. This meant the entire process from viewing to completion took three months. Even when we encountered an issue in the chain, Rowan and the team did not panic. Instead worked in the background to resolve said issue and came back with solutions rather than problems. Would 100% recommend and thank you for helping us purchase our home.

GoogleMonroe acted on both our sale and our purchase . I cannot recommend them highly enough . We changed agents on our sale as soon as we saw the quality of the marketing . Mark’s photography is exceptional and the level of enthusiasm and energy across the company as a whole made them the obvious choice. They guided us through the protracted and emotional experience of the sale of our family home of over 26 years and found us our new one . They always responded swiftly to calls and correspondence , often in the evening and at the weekends . Leanna in particular soaked up a great deal of the angst and was constantly both pragmatic and reassuring . It genuinely felt like a partnership where our interests were paramount . We never felt like one of many . Heather at the Boston Spa office handled our purchase together with Inez , both of whom , again, always responded quickly to us and facilitated the smooth transaction . They knew exactly what house we would fall for , and found it ! We can’t thank them enough and suggest no one look any further for an Estate Agent in this area .

GoogleMy intention was to write a review focusing on Monroe Estate Agents’ role in marketing and selling Belmont House in Leeds, which was promoted as high-quality and energy-efficient. And while Monroe are not liable for any defects with regard to the construction on Belmont House, there are legitimate questions about whether the development meets the standards advertised by Monroe Estate Agents. However, my main concern now is how Monroe has responded to my initial review (deleted at Monroe’s request) and subsequent phone calls and email exchange. In my opinion, rather than addressing the substance of the issues I raised with them, they have threatened me with legal action for discussing them in a Google review. I find this approach concerning, and it leaves me questioning how Monroe engages with critical feedback.

GoogleWe recently sold our last home and bought our new home with Monroe’s. It’s been a brilliant experience working with their team. What I’ve learned about their team during this process is that they aren’t only passionate about property, they’re also passionate about people. I could write a very long list of qualities about each and every person I encountered in that business. They’ve been supportive, creative, kind, tenacious, detailed, knowledgeable, funny, welcoming and helpful. They’re not just a really good estate agency, they’ve made themselves a part of the local community here and I’m glad they have. I’ll be sticking my head through their door on the high street to say hi for years to come and I recommend anybody should do the same.

GoogleWere brilliant from start to finish in helping us buy our dream house. Went out there way to show us round and fit us in a late viewing. Were very good at pointing out all the highlights of the property we might have missed on first viewing and weren't pushy at all. Did a great day of sorting out a day of viewing other properties at our request and created a easy to manage schedule with very friendly agents. When came to purchase the house they were quick to respond to all messages and were a great link to the developers and helped guide us to get something that suited both parties. Did a great job in moving in day to get us over the line linking in closely with solicitor, developers and smoothing over last minute issues. Thank you very much Leanna and Jordan

GoogleWe've just completed on a house purchase through Monroe, led by Rowan. A truly faultless process with Rowan handling everything with care and a sense of impartiality which is somewhat rare when you are the buyer. Rowan helped us through some bumps and always undertook this in a manner which never left us feeling rushed or under pressure. Really pleasant experience and we've come out with a house which we love and are starting to make our own. Would recommend using Monroe from our experience as a buyer and in particular, Rowan.
