After initially marketing a probate property with another agent and being messed around with poor pricing advice and communication, I made the decision to move to Karen Ritchie Estates. What a good move I made. Karen and Michelle’s knowledge of the local area and current market conditions resulted in an offer within 14 days of it going on the market with them. Their communication was excellent. They vetted the buyer and gave me sound advice throughout the process. Really like the fact that when you ring, you can always speak with the same person (usually Chloe) and there are only 2 agents, Karen and Michelle who do the viewings. They know the house so there aren’t agents showing prospective buyers around who haven’t ever been in the property prior to the viewing. Would highly recommend. Thank you all. You were top notch 😊😊😊

Her knowledge of the industry, locality and community inspired confidence. KRE did all the viewings, with only accredited valuers showing potential buyers around the property. Karen sold my house years ago and so when I was selling my last there was no question as to who was going to do it! Karen and her team were amazing. My house went on the market on the Tuesday and it was sold the following Monday. Michelle was great with the potential buyers that came to see my house and Chloe kept me up to date throughout. We were impressed with Karen and her knowledge of the local area which persuaded us to work with her as oppose to other agents we met. She made us feel confident about the process and was enthused about selling our property, which was important given we had spent a lot of money and time renovating it after our initial purchase. It was important to us that the agent was as invested as ourselves in selling the house as oppose to someone going through the motions and doing the absolute minimum to receive their fee. Having met a few of the bigger agents in Bolton, it became apparent rather quickly that Karen knew the market well. We also trusted that she would be tenacious in securing the best possible price for our home, which she did. The team in the office were also helpful, courteous and responsive to emails and calls and also had a sympathetic ear, which is needed when going through the stressful process of house selling. Although we appreciate that an entire team is working behind the scenes, both Marlena and Caroline were particularly helpful throughout the process and Karen was a solid sounding board when traversing the negotiations. We are grateful for their support and would certainly work with them again.

In my opinion Karen Richie Estates is the only agent to use for the Heaton/Lostock area!! Firstly when Karen came to value my home she provided good advice rather than a simple valuation; plus she asked for a fair price in fees! You get what you pay for!! Like most people selling homes, you have a few agents round to give you a quote and tell you about their services. Out of the 4 prospects I went with Karen because she took the time to get to know me and my circumstances. Karen has an insightful way of understanding what you want as a client. I found her to be professional and patient; it was like I had known her for years. Her knowledge and experience outshone everybody else that I had spoken with. She knows the area and she gets the buyers through the door. Karen has a great team behind her, so from start to finish I have been very impressed. Katie dealt with the viewings and she is very down to earth so I had no concerns that she was the right person to show prospective buyers around my house. The photographs she did were of a show home standard and the feedback from each appointment was instant. I’m not sure if its rare in this day and age; but I had a choice of who to sell my home to rather than flogging it on the first offer. Having lived in my home for over 13 years; I was delighted to pass it onto a first time buyer who appreciated the effort that had gone into it over the years. Shauny dealt with the sale and took the stress out of having to deal with solicitors, buyers and banks; which was needed as I was purchasing a property too. June looked after me on the day of the completion; providing reassurances and leaving me to deal with removal vans rather than processes and keys!! I can’t thank you enough for all your help, advice support and patience.

Thanks to the team at Karen Ritchies for selling our house (twice). We've tried to move several times over the last 15 years. Our house was a lovely solid Edwardian Semi with big rooms. We either couldn't find the right buyer, picked the wrong time or couldn't find a house we wanted to buy (even though they had managed to find us a buyer). Finally, Karen Ritchies have sold our house again at a good price and have supported us through a pretty stressful process, chasing the solicitors for information when it wasn't forthcoming (thanks Cassidy). They have always pitched the house well and are sympathetic to the style of property.

A massive thank you to Karen and her fabulous team for selling my late Mum's home. The initial valuation was spot on attracting buyers from the get go with great photos for the brochure - having their own EPC person took away that stress too. They supervised all viewings which was ideal since the property was unoccupied. A large number of viewings were scheduled within a week of the house being marketed with initial offers coming in above the asking price.
