The real reason you have left this review is because the property owner has applied to the deposit protection service for your bond to be retained as a contribution towards the damage you have both caused to the property.

We are saddened to see a one-star rating and wish there had been a little more detail provided as to the reasons behind it, particularly given the time that has passed since the matter in question. As we explained previously, when prospective tenants complete their initial application forms, the information provided is submitted to an independent third-party referencing company for verification. If a reference unfortunately comes back as unsuccessful, we always do our utmost to explore any possible options and try to find a solution that works for all parties involved. In this instance, however, we were unfortunately unable to proceed further due to your circumstances. We always aim to be fair and transparent throughout the process and to support both tenants and landlords wherever possible. In relation to this particular case, the landlord involved did leave us a five-star review regarding their experience with our service. Nevertheless, we are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and we genuinely wish you all the best moving forward.
