Tireless Help & Support from the Barnstaple Branch.

We cannot speak too highly of the help, support and encouragement we received from James Carroll and his wife Ria at Jackson-Stops, Barnstaple. They fully understood the significance to us of the move we were making, and never made light of it. And they gave us assistance and advice with our purchase (which was not through Jackson-Stops) as well as our sale. They were so completely professional in their work for us, but also friendly and supportive, pushing and battling for us, or asking a pointed question, or making a diplomatic phone call, at just the right moments. And when the going got tough, there was no-one else I would have wanted watching our back. We have made a life-changing move, very much for the better, and James and Ria played a very significant role in making that happen.Thank you.

Makes the challenges of letting much smoother

Moving to a new country is always a challenge. Paula B. and Jackson-Stops really helped make the process much smoother. I felt supported through the letting process. My move in was complicated by Covid and they were so helpful during that very stressful time.I feel like they give me plenty of notice if there is a need to enter the home and follow up on any needs.I plan to be here quite awhile and, if I ever need to move, feel I would look through their properties first.Thank you!

We purchased our first property through Jackson-Stops. From start to finish they were amazing.Throughout the whole process they kept in contact with us either through email or telephone call. Keeping us up to date with updates from the seller or the solicitor. Even when we were waiting for long periods of time for information, they would keep us informed that they are doing all they can to keep the process moving.Once we completed and we went to pick up the keys, we were greeted with friendly and chatty employees who were really happy for us. They even gave us a bottle of champagne which was a really thoughtful touch. They even said if they ever needed us we could contact them which we felt reassured and felt like we had support even after completion.We will definitely go back to Jackson-Stops for future purchases.Thank you again!George and Olivia

I cannot fault the service provided by Chris Fairclough at Jackson-Stops Dorking and Mr King at the Reigate office. They dealt with the sale of our late Uncle's house in a compassionate and professional way. They gave sensible and accurate advice based on an excellent knowledge of the local area. They showed a genuine interest in the house which was a very much loved family home. Nothing was too much trouble for any members of staff. Viewings and offers were beyond our expectations. We have already recommended them and will continue to do so.

The best letting agency for Military!

I’ve lived in Newmarket for 4 years and the Jackson Stops Staff has been nothing short of amazing! Being Active Military you hear of the horror stories with letting agents and I have had zero issues. I deployed 3 times while here and each time Paula & Jodie stopped by my apartment, checked on it, adjusted the thermostat if needed & they checked on me as well. They really treat you like family. Even during my move out inspection I hired a bad cleaning company and they reported the company to base housing to help other service members not use them as well. They truly care & go above and beyond if I could have stayed 4 more years I would have stayed in my apartment! I’ll miss Peel House & The Jackson’s Stops Team in Newmarket. If your Active Duty & you want a smooth transition in and out I highly recommend this company! I’ve lived overseas for 10 years & i’ve never had a better experience than HERE!

Best in Mid Sussex!

Toby, Guy and Alice deserve every success. Selling houses is not easy but they really maintained positivity and creativity throughout the whole process. Unfortunately we gave them a real curveball with a tricky neighbour but they dealt with the issue and smoothed out the process to successful completion. I don't think anyone else would have been able to achieve this. They are a pleasure deal with and will go that extra mile to make things happen. Their advice was spot on from beginning to end and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We recently sold our house via the Dorking branch of Jackson-Stops and can highly recommend them. Their service was excellent, from the valuation to advice, they were highly professional from start to finish. Perhaps their most impressive skill is their communication, always one step ahead of us, they kept us informed and offered advice all along the way. This is true of the whole team but in particular 100% excellent service was delivered by Chris Fairclough, whose advice, calm steering and all round friendly sound service was second to none. A first class organisation

From my initial contact with Jackson Stops office in Sevenoaks I have been totally impressed at the sheer professionalism of every member of staff I have dealt with. Having never let out a property before I was a complete novice and no question from me was ever ignored no matter how trivial it was. Communication from day one was excellent and continues to be so. They clearly know the local market as my property was let within a few days of being advertised. I'm also benefitting from their full management service which takes a great weight off my mind. Although my thanks go mainly to Isabelle and Helen as they are dealing with me, the rest of the team when I have had dealings with them have been similarly impressive.

Very satisfied customer who bought and sold back to back

I managed to sell my home of 19 years and buy an exceptionally wonderful smaller home, both through Jacksons in Dorking. Jacksons generated significant real interest in my home and ensured it was pictured well, displaying it's positives and advising me along the way. We managed to back 2 back the deals and while there were some difficulties down one end of the short chain, the communication was quick, clear and I was always fully informed - facing no surprises. In the event that I was selling or indeed buying again, I would be happy to deal with the Jackson team - all were very impressive and focused on getting the deals over the line with minimum stress.

Deserves no stars!! Shocking service by this estate agent, doesn’t promote your property at all, leaves it sitting on the website for months with no contact from them whatsoever!!There’s plenty of estate agents out there who will advertise and promote your property in order to seal a sale.Don’t waste your time with these people.
