Martin was incredibly professional, but also very personal in his approach, which made a real difference. He took the time to answer all my questions, kept me informed throughout, and made sure everything was handled efficiently. The whole team were friendly, supportive, and clearly committed to providing a high level of service. I felt well looked after every step of the way. We bought a house in Darwen through Crown Estate Agents. The house buying process threw up a number of challenges but Lisa went above and beyond in her support throughout. She was always available, always helpful, and when things were difficult gave excellent advice. I was so grateful for her help over the whole time, she really made a positive difference, helped me get over the line in time for my deadline and also waited in the office for me on the final day when I was held up in traffic after driving for hours. Absolutely terrible professional standards. First of all they rented me a property with live plug sockets the electrician failed to test yet wrote up paperwork for (I was left to find out by the sockets sparking and crackling), while also having a leak coming from the property next door. They drag their feet to not only inform the landlord but take several weeks to fix the leak issue. They then didnt inform me during the viewing, signing of the contract or until after it happened that they sold the property to another landlord. No communication, no professional standard, no basic common sense to fix up a property empty for a year with the basics of safe plug sockets and no leaks. They couldnt even take their sold signs down for 5 months. Absolute clown show from beginning to end. I would give minus stars if I could. Go to anyone else.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others. Mine and my partner’s experience with this agency was incredibly disappointing. From the start, the staff were rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in offering any real help. Communication was poor, and any questions we asked were met with indifference, making an already stressful process even worse. They were consistently unprofessional, at times speaking in an openly condescending manner. We genuinely felt like a nuisance rather than valued clients. Fortunately, we were able to secure a property through a different agency that demonstrated a far higher standard of professionalism and customer service. However, when we informed Crown Estate Agents of our decision to cancel the application, we were once again met with an unprofessional and discourteous tone. Upon respectfully addressing the inappropriate manner in which we were being spoken to, the staff member abruptly ended the call. If you're looking for agents who are respectful, communicative, and know how to do their job with basic courtesy, I’d strongly advise looking elsewhere. Response to owners: This is not a fake review. My name may not appear in your system because my partner handled the majority of the communication, including applications and viewings due to the fact I was denied the opportunity to even attend a viewing, which was due to my line of work. I find this both disappointing and unprofessional. I would encourage the owner to look into this matter thoroughly rather than dismiss it as a fake review.

I wish to commend the staff and Martin Bennett on the most efficient way they conducted the sale of my bungalow. The viewings were conducted by Martin and were hassle free. Martin had a very kind reliable manner and instilled confidence that the sale would be completed! The girls in the office were all very supportive during my many telephone enquiries and as selling a property can be quite stressful they provided an excellent "counselling service" lol! I would highly recommend the Auction system (contrary to what some may think of this). It provides a quick secure realistic sale and I was very pleased with the outcome.
