After 12 weeks on the market with nest, we received only 3 viewings and no communication from them at all. We never dealt with the same person so just felt like a number on their books.feeling disappointed, we changed estate agent to an independent agent, we quickly had lots of viewings and far better contact and communication from the new agent. She made an effort to get to know us, and when we rang, she actually knew who we were. It just shows what a difference a proactive estate agent makes. A few weeks after we changed agent, they put a flyer through our door. Apparently we were so forgettable they hadn’t remembered representing us even a month later. I honestly wouldn’t recommend nest. I feel they made promises that weren’t kept, and put our house on the market at a price that was too high and weren’t proactive in getting us a buyer. It was all very disappointing.

Terrible service what’d to see a house but was under offer got told on the phone that if offer falls through they will contact me for a viewing I noticed it still on market on right move week later I ring up got a viewing but they also gave some else a viewing before me they put offer before me that night witch I was not expecting you could do with the office closed as I rang up put in offer when they apparently opened at 9 lost the house because of bad communication from them will not be using then again

I'd used Nest for a number of years as a letting agent and wished I'd never bothered

I'd used Nest for a number of years as a lettings agent. They have been a terrible partner and appalling to work with, unable to return phone calls, getting the rents incorrect and not providing invoices despite multiple requests, the list could go on. The final straw was finding out they had been lying about attending the 6-monthly inspections which they offer as a part of their service, instead requesting the tenants themselves to send pictures which they then provided to me claiming they had taken themselves when visiting the property. Only when I spoke to the tenant did I realise they had never visited the property and lied directly to me about this situation. When I challenged them on this, a number of poor excuses were rolled out before they actually lost their temper and hung up the phone. It's more alarming to note that this poor customer service and these lies came directly from the "Director" Jake Stacey which doesn't suggest to me that it is an isolated incident if the manager of the company sets this sort of example. The entire operation was a shambles, the customer service was appalling and the staff, especially Jake, were completely incompetent and useless. I've dealt with many poor companies and witless individuals in my time but these really are the worst. These are a perfect example of a company being set up and ran by people with NO experience and playing at running a business. Avoid at all costs. Rude, incompetent and useless!

This was my first property buying experience via an estate agent. My previous purchase was a new build so was pretty simple so I was new to it! Even though Nest represented the buyer, but they were working day and night for me ensuring that we could complete. There are many estate agents who will tug and pull at you, applying pressure but not with Nest. Somehow, after accepting an offer on my own house, I was put in a 7 house chain. Unknown to me. Nest worked hard checking the chain, getting updates and providing me with an accurate status of play. With the pandemic, things were made difficult in general. But buying from Nest felt like I was buying from family. They are family run business with family morals and values running through the blood and that was evident from the off. I am happy that the house was for sale via Nest. Thank you Anita and Trilby for your exceptional professionalism. You are a credit to Nest. From the photos and brilliant write up of our home by Debbie, to the progression updates and information from Anita the service was faultless. Nest were always professional and friendly. We had a little 'hiccup' (neither Nest or our fault) in the chain further down, but the help and support we received was faultless. Yes, their fees are higher than those of on line agents, but I truly believe we wouldn't have felt so satisfied had we have gone with one of those based on the feedback I have heard and read.
