GoogleI have had a fantastic experience with these guys, Jenny was particularly professional. I have dealt with so many agents in the past that give you the pitch and your drawn in, but deep down they just want the commission. Not these guys, highly recommended. Thank you

GoogleBarkers were brilliant in helping me sell my late mother's house. Right from the start and all the way to completion, the whole team were great in making a stressful process as painless as possible. GoogleIf I could give barkers estate agents 0 stars I would in fact they get a big fat - 5 Stars IF YOU want a secondary service and shot it customer services and one to be ripped off then barkers is the estate agent for you you we rented a property from them paid in advance the property wasn't fit for purpose they never came out to do repairs you could put your hand through the gap in the side door the outside door or we could not lock the doors or leave the property unattended as it was not secure the toilet leaked the kitchen sink tap constantly drips everyday day under the furniture was a black carpet of of woodlice and God knows what else I had that many bites on my legs I contracted cellulitis and had to have antibiotics and steroid cream from doctor

GoogleThroughout our whole house move Nicola was amazing. We can’t thank her enough. She really helped us when we had a buyer pull out last minute. She was so supportive and positive which kept us going with quick viewings which ultimately led to a super quick offer coming through and us managing to sell again. GoogleProfessional service, good communication and easy to liaise with. Had some minor turbulence to begin with about the list price but this was rectified and we got the sale in the end! Cathy and Nicola are really friendly and I would wish to work with them again if I needed to sell!

GoogleBought our first house through Barkers 2 months ago (slightly late review). We could not have been happier with the service, from putting in our offer to recieving our keys, we were kept informed and updated every week, Nicola liaised with our solicitor and the sellers solicitor and sent me a weekly email with where we were at, I was always able to email her with any questions and always received a reply usually within a few hours, would highly recommend using barkers :)

GoogleTried to view a property in Birstall with my daughter. Drove through rush hour traffic and arrived 5 minutes early. Waited and no one came. When my daughter phoned the office the woman who answered was not helpful. She didn't offer to try the estate agent's mobile to see where they were. Just basically left us stranded. The property was a rear back to back and we couldn't access it at all without an estate agent with us. What a waste of time! Perhaps someone wanted to get away early on a Friday?? I would not be happy if this was my property I was trying to sell.
We are sorry that you were unable to view the property, due to a mix up in our diary the accompanied viewer was at the property earlier than expected and did not realise there was another appointment in for yourselves. The lady in the office was not aware of this and assumed she would be there and would certainly have offered to contact them if she has been in doubt of this. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

GoogleTreated with respect each and every time I've contacted Barkers Estate Agents, Birstall. Whether by telephone or email. Staff I've spoken with are polite, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, efficient AND if they say they'll get back to you.... they do! If they don't have the answer to your question or query they'll find someone who has. Every job or repair I've ever contacted them about has been dealt with efficiently. What more can I say other than Barkers Birstall are the ones to do business with. Try them you won't regret it.

GoogleAfter an awful experience with an estate agent significantly under valuing my property a friend recommended Barkers. I was pleased the recommendation was valid, attentive staff, made me feel welcome from the moment we met. Any questions i had were answered with answers not confusing jargon that had me reaching my phone to google!! When i called if the person i needed to speak to wasn't available I WAS ACTUALLY CALLED BACK WHEN THEY WERE if the person on the line was unable to answer my query! A highly professional outfit that i would highly recommend.

GoogleBrilliant service from both the Sale and Rental Teams. Attentive with regular updates. Moving can be very stressful and Cathy and Lauren in the Birstall office were wonderful to work with. Made the move as stress free as it could be. Thoroughly recommend them if you are either selling or letting a property!!!
