Extremely Disappointed, Worst Experience with LV Property

I’ve had the worst experience dealing with LV Property. There is absolutely no transparency in how they operate, and communication is terrible. They don’t reply to emails or follow up on important issues, leaving you completely in the dark. I’ve tried multiple times to get updates, but their lack of response and professionalism has been shocking.

Hi there, I currently rent a room which is fabulous. Throughout the whole process of starting my tenancy agreement everything went as planned and the team at Very Nice Homes were very supportive and helpful. I cannot thank Claire & Zahra enough! The facilities are clean and tidy. The room is ideal for what I require too! I highly recommend this agency. I have most recently had an issue with my bed which was instantly replaced after being seen to as it was damaged. Everything just works for me and I love my first home of my own. After looking around for a while and struggling to find something suitable, I came across a room with Very Nice Homes. From the second I requested a viewing the guys involved genuinely couldn’t have been more helpful! Clare was an absolute God send from the start and managed to fit in the viewing around me. There was a room I liked that was unfortunately let, however, as soon as something similar (which actually turned out to be better) came up, she was straight on the phone to let me know and see if i would like to view! From the viewing, to the payments, to the receiving of the keys, i cannot fault anything they did! Any questions or concerns I had were answered no problems! From Clare doing the viewing and arranging the key drop to Sherah in the office sorting all of the paperwork and payments etc. it was an absolute breeze! I would highly recommend to anybody!☺️

I recently rented an ensuite bedroom through the lettings agent Ms.Clare, and I must say, the experience was very good. The property was clean and tidy, and all the amenities were in excellent working condition. Despite being abroad, I had no issues with communication as all our interactions were online, Clare was extremely helpful with online viewing and always prompt in her responses. Ms. Sherah made the documentation work extremely easy for me, and I was able to move into the property without any hassle. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience renting a house share through Very Nice Homes, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable living space.

I recently viewed a property managed by this company. Less than a week later I was moved in and made to feel very welcomed. The process is very easy and quick, with help from two extremely lovely ladies Claire and Sherah who made it a dream to move house rather than hassle like it can be sometimes. I rented a room from this agency starting 5th March 2024 on a six-month contract. It was a soundproof, fully furnished room, and I paid £895 per month, the most expensive room in the property. I had no complaints and never caused any issues during my stay. In late August, my wife joined me, and I informed the agency. Instead of being accommodating, they increased the rent to £945 and put me on a new six-month contract. Even then, I continued to keep to myself, never used any shared facilities, and only experienced minor heating issues which I didn’t make a fuss about. In March 2025, I decided to give my notice to end the tenancy by either 30th March or at the latest 5th April. I expected a fair balance of rent to be calculated and my deposit to be returned. Instead, I was told by a staff member named Sherah that I must pay for the full month of April and only if they managed to re-rent the room would I get any money back. Despite my efforts to contact them, they ignored my calls. The contract they use is written in a very vague and one-sided way, stating rent is due from the first of the month regardless of notice. I even offered to settle the balance fairly, but they refused and left the room empty while keeping my full payment. I left the room in excellent condition. Still, this agency showed no fairness or professionalism. They are more interested in taking your money than providing a fair service. I lost £945 due to their unethical practices and dodgy contracts , Do yourself a favor, avoid this agency at all costs. If you don’t want to be conned or treated unfairly, look elsewhere.

Worst experience

Worst experience I’ve had with any estate agent ever! Very hard to get hold of, and don’t reply to emails promptly. Been dealing with both sales and letting and they’ve always either been out on appointments or annual leave, never returning any calls. Hamad (sales manager) has been rude and difficult to work with. They refuse to share the tenants contact details with me even though I am the landlord! If you’re looking to rent or sell your property, stay far from LV property, they will make the whole process very difficult for you.
