Courtney again. I was chased up constantly about a flat here after making an enquiry, as though they really wanted to give me the place. I went there with my husband, talked to Ahmed and saw how beautiful the whole place is. We decided to get it and were referred to Homeppl for a reference check. I had to pay £300 for this and was told it would be deducted from the first month's rent or refunded in the case that we get rejected despite providing genuine documents. Keep this in mind. I'm a Doctoral Researcher so I thought my proof of income should be straightforward. But no. I had to give additional evidence and then they accepted it. Now let's get to my husband's reference check. It was honestly a pathetic joke. He works at a fast food restaurant and has been working there for 5 months as he recently moved to the UK. We provided his bank statements, his proof of identity, and everything they wanted. They got back to us and said to send his contract. We did. They said he is on a 0 hour contract so to send his manager's details. I did. Then they said to give his manager's email address. I did. Then they said the email address has to be of a formal domain. We said this to his manager and he said he was not assigned one. So I told homeppl and asked why his normal email address cannot be accepted? They said something about verifying the company's validity by clicking a link which would redirect to the company's webpage. They told me it has to be a HR email address. I told them my husband's company doesn't work that way, it's a fast food restaurant. Just call his manager!!! I offered to provide his payslips too. But no, apparently they do not accept them. Everything hinged on this one email address. So we had to contact my husband's Area manager for the email address. Can you imagine what a pain that was? And how embarrassing it was for my husband to keep pestering his manager for an email address? Anyway, we got it. Meanwhile, we were asked to upload his bank statements multiple times, one of the times because I had changed the file name to the month to make it easier for them, and they thought by changing a file name I forged the document. So upload again "in the original format." Then they asked what which payee is it? My husband only has 1 job so of course it is the only one that gives incoming payments! Had to email back and tell them which one it is. They then emailed back and said it is not the company's name. I got back and said of course it isn't the company's name it's the HR company!!! They then asked about the relationship between the HR company and the fast food. Kill me please. Regarding the email address, they sent the link. And it did not redirect to the company's website as I expected. They rejected us. At this point I was honestly lost for words. As a researcher, I was on a 0 hour contract at Aston University and the University of Birmingham. Universities do not have 1 webpage which the HR department links to. So clearly, if they sent it to my University's HR department, it would also not redirect. So to Homeppl, Aston University and the University of Birmingham are fake. I don't understand how single minded these people can be. Also, all this communication took place via back and forth email because guess what? They themselves do not have a contact number! Now you tell me, are they verifiable? This whole nonsense took place over a month. Their biggest hurdle to cross was that 1 email address. They just could not understand why an email address does not link to a company's homepage. God bless their soul and give them the ability to use their brains than rely on an outdated computer application system. Ahmed tried his best to support us through this and still got back in touch now after we got rejected because they have not given us the £300 back despite us giving all the evidence. Want to know about the icing on the cake? His manager refused to give the £300 back. I am now going to take legal action against them, because clearly this whole place is a scam. Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!

I've lived at Paradise View for about 8 months now, and I've had a wonderful time so far. The location is ideal for someone who chooses to be close to the city centre. It provides easy access to shops, services, and transport links. The building in itself is very well-managed and beautifully designed. It has a great social space, with several facilities for residents. The building has a mail room, co-working space (a huge plus for those of us who work remotely, I know it is for me), and even a private dinner room. A recent addition is the Anytime Fitness gym just next door which has made the experience even better. I've been quite satisfied with my stay.

I have recently moved into Paradise View and I am very happy with my decision in doing so. My new studio flat is excellent and coupled with the common areas on the ground floor, this building is an ideal place to live. Located very centrally, it has everything within walking distance. Ahmed and Courtney are great and have organised events for residents as well which have been good fun!

Even though the air flow fan only works between 6am to 10pm there is not enough power. Only one fan in the middle blows in to the room. Bath and kitchen side does not work. We wake up at 2am because there is no oxygen and the room is extremely hot. The picture shown below is even with the door open. The Work space area constantly has no coffee often. They said in the contract it includes coffee. Once you move in the customer service is no longer. Avoid living here. The building is full of students even though we were quoted only 11% of rooms would be. If you go on the roof terrace all you can smell is weed from people smoking it out the windows of their room or on the roof. Doors are slammed shut at 4am and wake you up. The original PS5 got stolen due to the lack of security. If you forget your key fob you can call a number who basically then give you access to the entire building.

I moved into paradise view 3 months ago and it has been nothing but a great experience. The location is ideal and very close to everything you might need. Also the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, Ahmed and Courtney are always available for anything I need. They also organise really fun social events and the social area is unmatched! I’d rate it a 100/10

I moved in around august time this year and every step of the process has been 10/10. From viewing the rooms to moving in and living here for the past 3 months, everything has been very smooth. Was a very nice room, good social space with very nice modern and aesthetic interior. Staff were helpful and friendly and always trying to help in the best way they can. Only Issue i had was with the agency that was dealing with the initial contract business, but thats not the properties fault. Would reccomend living here.

Should've heeded Luke's warning when I read his review. The management of this place is very unprofessional and rude (yes I am talking about the same person Luke mentioned). I went in for a viewing and wanted to book the room straightaway. But my emails and calls were ignored, until finally she picked up and spoke to me in a rude tone. Apparently the room I wanted had already been booked and she was too 'busy' to reply to my emails. That's funny because I'm pretty sure that while she was 'too busy' to reply to me, she was probably replying to the people who she'd rather rent the room and helping them with their application. This place is classist and very unprofessional, don't go for it unless you're ready to be humiliated by the manager.
